I am using this master lock on a moving box I keep in my front yard while we pack up the house. It is easy to use, and certainly looks much more difficult to cut than the standard padlock. It feels heavy-duty and certainly would be significantly harder to break than a cheap standard Master Lock like I am used to from my high school locker.My only complaint is that if there is any pressure on the locking bar (like from the weight of the padlock hanging in place), the key is unable to turn. So I have to lift the padlock up and make sure that it is free from any pressure from the door hinge before unlocking. For a few minutes my wife thought the lock was broken. If you run into the same problem, just make sure you are supporting the weight of the lock.

I'm not going to bash out a five paragraph essay about how great these are for what they're meant to be, but trust me, they're worth every penny.The action of the tumbler didn't stick in any condition I've been in and I've been in many different places with these locks exposed to the elements.The only issue I have is the keys are really lightweight. I actually broke one in the tumbler and had to remove the stub with a pair of needle-nose pliers.Otherwise, these are a good investment.

This was cheaper online than through my storage company. But unfortunately it didn't arrive in time so I bought a second one at the storage company anyway. I haven't sent it back because it is a good lock and at the price I paid for it will come in handy at some point I am sure.

I bought this lock for a small enclosed trailer used by a traveling band, so it got lots of daily use. It's great for smaller places and looks to be very secure because of the shielded shackle. The problem was it did not hold up well outdoors in a cold Midwest winter.Locking and unlocking it was always kind of clunky but because the the shackle slides to the side, instead of popping up like a normal lock, it is not a friend of ice. Ice would build up inside the lock preventing it from turning. Needing to get into the trailer, we would spay it down with deicer to get it off, which worked, but after a couple months of this it started sticking more and more even when not cold. I eventually had to retire it after a 10 minute struggle with a torch to get it open. It might be the deicer that corroded it so quickly, so I won't fully hold it against the lock.Overall, I would use this for indoor or warm weather but not outdoors in winter for frequent use.

Very inexpensive, seems like good quality, using on shed outside. will see how it holds up to snow/ice and rain.

Great secure lock! Everyone in our building was recommended to get this lock by the police after our condo's lockers were broken into. It smart as it doesn't expose much of the lock so I believe it can't be cut with a bolt cutter.

The disc locks were a requirement at the storage locker place we rent from, apparently they are hardest to break into, so we had to buy one. It seems strong, the only negative I have is the price, these locks just seem pricey, but I guess it is because they are so good, so really worth it.

Great price on Master quality

Lock is very slimsy, must fight with key to open and lock. Do not recomend if you want quality.
