Buy from local Dealer
I have no complaints about this product, other than the instructions and wiring items included are wanting, to say the least,, but I recommend buying from your local Simplifire dealer, rather than this seller. The prices are the same but the dealer will provide technical support, which will be needed unless you are a licensed electrician.The fireplace comes ready to be hardwired, but if you want to plug it in, you will need to rewire it yourself, which is no small project. They did include an optional plug, but it was incorrectly wired and could not be attached as provided for in the instructions. The seller, 247Grills, never answered their phone and did not return repeated phone messages.I love Amazon , but this is one instance where having a local dealer to help out would have been very helpful, and from I found, they charge the same or less than this seller.
