I was pleased with this ointments ability to quickly clear up minor skin infections and abrasions. Good price, prompt delivery. Once applied you must cover it with a bandage because it drips once it warms up on your skin and stains nearly everything it comes into contact with be it skin or grout to clothing or bedding. This is to be expected with an iodine based product, but don't wear your designer clothing when using it. If you do get it on washable fabric launder immediately in cold water to start with. Plan to put a tube in my bug-out bag.

In just two days it helped healed my mother's feet ulcers, and tailbone, still healing another ulcer in her big toe,the doctor told me to continue the treatment, that is healing very well. I wanted to get this particular good because is in gel, so it stays in the ulcer protecting it and acting at the same time, the other type of iodine is also good, but liquid and it dries faster and it has to be applied more than twice a day, but with Povidone you only apply it once a day. Definetly would recommend this product, is great!

Cheaper than some other stuff and works as well,just stains a bit. Will let you know if you have an iodine deficiencie if the color fades.

I can't find povidone iodine ointment locally in the drug stores. I use too be able to find it. I swear by this ointment. I use it on burns, cuts etc. I started using povidone ointment about 35 yrs. ago. When only the name brand was available. The pharmacist recommended it for an injury my son had. I swear by the stuff. I have seen it heal the worse cuts. I am allergy to Neosporin and this is the only ointment I trust to use. It may be alittle messy but its worth the mess to have the cut or burn heal nicely.

I used it a few times so far on my family and myself. I am very impressed how well this ointment works. This cream cuts down days of the time that skin would heal. Protecting any wound from harmful bacteria or other intrusion. I love this product! Thank you for making this product. Awesome ! I will buy this again. ♥

I used this for a small scrape and it worked quickly. I would not recommend for an open wound.

When I read Susanne Sommers uses for fiber cystic breast I thought I would try in that I had a bad mamogram . It seems to have helped, the sonar I had a month later showed quite a bit less fiber cystic. I also found out by test that I was low of iodine, which is a cause of breast cancer.
