I bought this pack of sanding sponges after burning through 2-3 from the big box store (@ about $3 a pop, I might add). We were hanging ship lap - using 1/4 ply wood - and I needed a quick way to debur the edges before priming/painting. Aesthetic - (9/10) These sponges arrived in great shape. Corners were sharp, and the grit was consistent across all surfaces. Function - (9/10) I honestly couldn't tell any difference between the performance of these sponges and the name brand from the big box store. The course grit made quick work of my splintered plywood planks. I haven't used the finer sponges a ton yet, but a quick trial on a table top I was working on produced great results. The beveled edges are great for getting into corners. Durability - (8/10) I'm probably too aggressive with most sanding products, but I will say I'm pretty pleased with how well these have held up to a couple of projects. As I continue to use them, I will update this review. Value - (10/10) Honestly, this is where these sponges shine. They are literally half the price (or cheaper) than I can buy at the hardware store and have performed just as well. I'll likely continue to purchase these in lieu of purchasing retail. Overall, this is a great way to save some money if you do a lot of hand sanding/touch up work. I'd recommend over their retail counterparts any day.

Was a bit skeptical when I purchased these but they are really sturdy, edge stands up to sanding concrete/texture wall(I am a painter) will continue to use them.

The price was right, good crisp angles (45 degrees), and did the job. However, I had to spend a few minutes sorting out the course, medium, fine, superfine sponges. It's a no-brainer that stamping or printing the abrasion grade on the sides would be helpful to the consumer. Also, these "super fine", i.e. 120 grit, do not align with the 3M grading on its sanding sponge blocks, i.e. "fine" on 3M equals 120 but "sands like 150 sandpaper". So, if you're not doing precision refinishing work, these will be useful.

I can’t say anything bad about this product because it’s a good product

I don't like them at all. I gave 3 stars because using them flat is okay but using the edge to clean inside corners tears them up, quickly. Mine were good for a few inside corner swipes before they started tearing up. I was sanding drywall. They are basically abrasive coating over sponge. Waste of my money.

Not very spongey, but the angle wouldnt be very effective if it was. These worked very well for me, mostly used dry, but had no problem when I did use a wet sponge one time. Easily cleaned off with the water. Size was good, Very thick. Easy to hold. Can't say anything about long term use , but all indications so far seem to show they might hold up well into future use.

These sanding blocks are the cat's meow when it comes to hard to reach places especially in corners. They hold up well even if you are using a little water with them. The grit and construction hold up as well as any I have used in my 40 years. Recommend!

I hate sanding but these blocks allow you to get those harder to reach corners, durable and priced well
