The lights are super easy to install under 5 minutes which I found amazing for a car upgrade as it is twist and plug in to get them going. The lights themselves are really bright and give out a nice white daylight color to them that makes the license pop, which would be a added bonus if you have a cool license plate number. It does also add a little bit of extra safety as the truck is more noticeable. I think the price is on target for the quality you are getting as it doesn’t seem to be on the cheap feel of things. Overall I like the light and would recommend for your truck.

Several reviewers said they were too bright! Not true, I believe they are just right. They don't stick out like a sore thumb at all, which is what I expected. I like the look! Only problem I had was wiring/plugging them in red + (new light) to brown + (old truck), they are polarity sensitive, and I couldn't tell my brown from my black wire, had to use a DMM to find positive. No prob...love em!***UPDATE***It's been mentioned before- one of the lights started strobing/flashing and shortly thereafter went out. now the other one has started strobing.

These fit into the stock bumper very nicely, and are a lot brighter than stock. You can easily see the tag at a distance now, and it has a cool white color temperature versus a stock incandescent bulb which is a warm white. The brightness level isn’t distracting, but it probably shouldn’t be any brighter or it would be.

Garbage!!! Didn't even last three months before they were both out again. I ended up switching back to old fashioned OEM bulbs and sockets and no problem since.

The units have a tounge that is inserted in the original light adapter. Because there is nothing to clip they become loose and light start filtering. I have used electrical tape to achieve better fastening but this also has failed. I could have used the original plate unit with the correct connections by just replacing a bulb rather than replacing the whole unit.

I had to make a slight modification to fit these on my 99 Ranger. Totally worth it, looks great. We shall see how well they hold up. I'm buying a set for my F150 too.
