Exactly what I wanted
This is a gentle, easy workout that strengthens while stretching. Each day is a 7 minute workout of 3-6 movements while standing that are repeated slowly. It's energizing enough to do first thing in the morning and calming enough to do before bed. My body felt warm and worked, but not exhausted after I finished. In-fact I always feel like I want to do another once I finish and I probably will once I finish the full 30 days. This is also *the* most effective stretch I've ever found for my neck and upper back.This is just the short, simple workout I wanted to be able to relax while getting myself in the habit of setting aside time for working out.I love the host's peaceful voice as he gives instructions and the backdrop of the ocean over cliffs or from the beach. Everything about the music and setting are relaxing and unobtrusive and his instructions are so clear I often found my eyes closing during motions after the first few repetitions. In many ways this is more like a moving, stretching meditation and I love that.The movements are easy and simple and you get out of them what you put in. You can bend your knees a little more deeply or make the movements of your arms more expansive or more controlled to change the intensity. Nothing is difficult, but everything can be done more precisely as you like. Each daily workout stands completely on it's own that you could jump into with 0 experience, but also builds on what you've learned in days before. EX: On day one you do a simple circular motion with your arms while standing and breathing; a few days later you do a similar movement, but add a push-pull motion of your arms when they reach your chest.The menu setup is a little deceptive. You see highlight-able options of 1-5, 6-7, etc, which implies a single workout for those 5 days or that you'll be able to play a segment of 5 continuous workouts. Actually there are 30 completely individual and unique workouts (wow). The main menu is actually more like a scene selection menu on a movie. Clicking on any of the 5 day segments just starts you at the first of those 5 workouts - each day is it's own "scene" that you can use the skip button to go to directly. Each day starts with a title card saying "Day _", so you can "channel-flip" through the days and not worry about skipping the one you're aiming for.I've tried another Qi Gong DVD and while I really liked that one, it was 40 minutes and I found I was always finding an excuse not to do it due to length. These 7 minute segments are so easy to do and make me want to do more of it. If you're wanting to get yourself into the practice of Qi Gong, this is an excellent way to get yourself to set aside time, or if you just want to try Qi Gong for the first time this is exactly the bite-sized workout to get a feel of it with. Simple, easy to commit to and not at all intimidating.I highly recommend this to absolutely anyone.***update Dec 2021 - 2.5 years after I first got the dvd.***I still stand by everything I wrote above. I've used this almost daily since I first started, either restarting the 30 day program each month, or just doing my favorite days/the workouts that stretch in the way I need if I'm stiff in some particular way. It's so easy to commit to doing the 7min, and I always feel better after doing them.I am going to continue to use this dvd daily indefinitely. It hasn't just improved my mobility, mentally and emotionally I'm more resilient and calm than I was two years ago. I am forever grateful I ran into this dvd and bought it.

Easy to follow
Lee does a fantastic job of demonstrating the moves and my husband and I feel better already even though we are only halfway through. Some of the moves are more challenging than others to coordinate at first but they really work! The setting is gorgeous and we love how he explains the movements and what they are for. Its a great tool for learning a lifelong healthy practice. Only regret is that we didn't find this sooner! Buy it and change your life.

easy to follow
I love the short 7-minute qi gong workouts. He does a great job of explaining what to do but doesn't talk too much. They invoke a sense of calm and are easy to do.

Wonderful exercises for those that have trouble exercising!!
If you struggle, physically, with movement and exercising then Lee Holden will help you out. These Qi Gong movements offer options for those that want to exercise but have limitations. Would highly recommend!!

Great for flexibility and energy.
Discovered this through his online offerings and loved the way I felt afterward. I am 63 and overweight by 20-25 lbs and this was easy to do. I felt relaxed and energized afterward.recommend this I for anyone needing to get up and moving as a way to stay flexible. 12/27/2021 UPDATE: Along with a Keto eating plan I have committed to doing this every morning for 30 days. I am on day 50ish of doing this every morning before I sit down for coffee and meditation. I am blown away at how much better I feel and have stared adding longer routines of his at night before bedtime and sometimes in the afternoon. I have gained range of motion in an arthritic neck and am more flexible overall.

Great to Do!
Enjoyable to do! Seven minutes flies by so quickly and I find that when I am just getting into it - it’s over! LOL! Use this as a warm up to treadmill. I had bought a more advanced tape a few years ago - and decided to do the sensible thing, “Walk, before I could Run”, and bought this beginner’s instead - and very glad I did. One star off, simply because, after day two, there are some breathing exercises which I wish Holden would explain in greater detail and have a practice run through, before commencing the full exercise.

Just what I hoped for
Despite some other reviews this DVD plays fine on my DVD player in the UK and it also allows me to go back the following day to where I finished off without having to go through previous sessions. I have another of his DVDs which is filmed in the mountains and is quite stunning - this one has the ocean and a big blue sky in the background which is just as beautiful to watch from my London sitting room especially as I am rarely able to get out because of a long term health condition. Each session is bite sized and easy to follow and would suit a beginner or someone who has practised before. I've only just started it but am very happy indeed with my purchase and looking forward to practising gently on a daily basis.

great to get you into Qi Gong
A great set of Qi Gong exercises for 'busy' people. Each daily routine lasts just ofer 7 mins, and I usually do two in a row, repeating the one from the previous day first.I bought a few more of Lee's DVDs and they all do seem thorough, pleasant, easy to follow, invigorating and revitalising. A few of my other favourites would be: AM/PM Routine, Better Breathing, Mindfulness in Motion, and Energy and Vitality.I seem to prefer 'longer' routines than just 7 mins, but this DVD is great either to get into Qi Gong, or to exercise when you don't have time for 20-40min routines from other DVDs.

perfect start
Absolutely love is dvd, I'm new to Qi Gong and do one of these practices most mornings before work. They really help me get my day off to a good start especially when waking up with a racing mind of things to do. Will be buying me more of his DVDs.

Great beginners qi gong
What I love about this is its daily, just 7 mins each morning, anyone can do that, haven't finished it yet. The good thing is you can resume to next day , love this plus hes good to look at!

Great short & sweet sessions of Qi Gong
Great series of 7-minute Qi Gong sessions.It has managed to keep my parents enthused and engaged throughout and is something they can do together each day.Lee Holden has a great calming voice and keeps everything moving along at a steady pace.Would highly recommend his dvds.
