Excellent for your laptop!!!
I have two of these now and when paired with a desk-mounted monitor arm with a VESA mount, makes a great addition to your desk or workstation. I needed to be able to use my laptop at my desk along with my desktop PC but on a desk that has no room for it. I was able to use this along with a spare monitor arm and increase the functionality of the monitor arm. It feels strong and the side holders can be stretched to accommodate most laptops big or small. There are also nubs at the front of the holder to keep the laptop from falling forward. It's an inexpensive upgrade for a monitor arm that repurposes its usefulness overall. Recommended.

Once assembled, this is great
Assembly was a bit of a bear. Had to really work hard to secure the laptop clips because they were slightly off.It attached well to my 2nd monitor arm and my laptop is sng and secure.

Well designed laptop tray
A very nicely designed laptop tray with adjustable clips on the side as well as adjustable stays in the front of the tray depending on the thickness of one's laptop. Definitely makes sure your laptop is secure and won't slip off the tray. It was straightforward to put together and attach to the monitor arm.

perfect accessory for laptop extensions
My daughter has to use a mandatory chromebook for virtual schooling. She connects her chromebook to an external monitor, bluetooth headset and wireless keyboard and mouse. Add that to all of the books that she needs to use, she quickly ran out of usable desk space. I ordered this laptop accessory to help free up her desk area and it worked out great. My picture includes a regular laptop as a test for my setup, the tray support clips can be expanded to fit any laptop size. I like that it also has stopper hooks in the bottom of the tray to further support the weight of the laptop. Please note, this is only the "tray". You need to have your own clamp stick and arm extender to use with the tray. You also need the plate that comes with your arm extender to connect it to this tray. The tray only comes with screws to connect your own visa plate (which comes with clamp mount arm) with the tray. The tray can be adjusted to support your preferred angle of the laptop. This is a must have if you have devices extending a laptop. I highly recommend.

Very sturdy!
The stand is very easy to install as long as you have the correct mount. My computer is a 15" Thinkpad, which is heavy. The mount holds the weight without problem and the grip is great so it does not move around.

Good that's it
One of the best holders I've ever used no stupid strap and it's pretty versatile you can use it for modules and different types of equipment I use this to hold my streaming equipment I have a couple of them work straight and very secure

Way too much play/wobble in the design
The media could not be loaded. I’m not sure why other reviews claim there is no wobble. Maybe the design has changed? Because as you can see, there is around 5mm play which makes it not viable for my uses. I want to be able to take the screen or laptop stand on and off regularly to change configuration in my camper-van, or for stowage whilst driving. I will also be regularly rotating the screen back and forth between landscape & portrait.I don’t think it will let the screen go, but there is just too much movement. You can sort of wedge it down, but that will only work if the monitor stays in landscape and isn’t regularly removed.Such a shame, not anywhere near the same quality as the Vivo V001G arm I got, nor their laptop stand. I got this one based on the reassurances of reviews and the metal tab, whereas the ergotron (my other choice) is apparently plastic. I think I’ll now need to try the Ergotron and hope theirs is built to much better tolerances.
