It is made of heavy plastic, and has brass fittings for the screw adjustments. I found that it fit my Galaxy S7 Edge well enough to work even though my phone wasn't listed. I have a well known brand of phone adapter that has two pieces. One special adapter for my spotting scope, and then a special phone case to connect that to my particular phone. Each part cost $40 or more, and they are made of the same kind off plastic, no metal, and fit only one phone. Yes they are tight and secure, but the Solomark seems to work quite well, too, and it fits many phones and even large eyepieces.

I wound up returning this. I purchased this to take pictures through my dobsonian telescope, but my iPhone 11 Max was apparently too heavy. Thankfully it was in a case so it didnt break.The eyepiece of my telescope is on the side, so that certainly puts undue stress on the grips which caused the failure. I'm certain it will work for other scopes or smaller phones, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.

Does what it says pretty well. Excellent value. Starts getting fuzzy past 35x though and is a little dark at times. The phone attachment works great. Pictures are 35x vs 45x

Unlike the other commonly purchased mobile phone adaptor for spotting scopes, this one is easy to install and it provides a picture area that fills the camera screen without distortion and dark areas around picture area. We've used both, and this is clearly the better design. Just make sure you choose the version that will accommodate your eyepiece — there are two sizes and appear to be offered by different vendors. We needed the larger one.

This is a great item for the price took it to the range and able to site in my ar on the 50yd without any issue and so much better to have my phone look at verses the eye piece and I think 2 or 3 other shooters at the range were impressed with how east and good it worked. Only issue is the tripod is lackluster but changing that soon

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My previous 2 adapters paled!!!In less than 5 minutes right out of the box I attached this to my spotting scope, my iPhone 6,and captured the herein attached two visuals. The female brown-headed cowbird is from 30+ yards and the mourning dove video is from 20 yards in HIGH WIND.

I was able to see my shots clearly at 50 yards. I did not see how it looks like at 100 or farther, but from what I see it should work well at 100 as well.

Pierratt Aaptiv worked very well with my telescope during the day. But when I tried to take pictures of the sky in the night I had lots of trouble aligning the image to the phone

This item took so long to arrive I ordered a different one for literally half the price I paid for this one. When I finally got this one it didn't work any better than the second unit I ordered from a different vendor for half the price. Additionally, this had a very large connector to the eyepiece (they do mention this in the description so I certainly can't fault them there) but if you're using it on a Bushnell monocular, beware that it can interfere with the focusing barrel which is very close to the eyepiece when the eyepiece is screwed in (which is necessary when using your cellphone for photos). The other unit I purchased (for half the price) had a smaller connection to the monocular and doesn't interfere with the Bushnell focusing barrel.

Der Adapter passt vom Gewinde sehr gut an die Webcam. Das zylindrische Stück vor dem Gewinde passt bei meiner Webcam exakt ins Gehäuse der Kamera. So ist ein guter Halt gegeben. Auch das Gewinde für die Filter passt.
