DEATH TRAP
Whatever you do, do NOT buy these for your cat!!! Mine loved playing with them until one day unbeknownst to me he started acted off and began throwing up incessantly. Several tests, emergency treatments, and $3,000 vet bill later I had to put my cat down because this thing caused serious pancreatitis and internal organ failure from obstruction. I lost my beloved pet because of these!! Just don’t!

Got $4000 for cat surgery?
Bought these for my girlfriends older kitten/adolescent cat. He absolutely loved playing with them. Suddenly, a few days after Christmas, he wasn't eating or using the litter box, was trying to puke (not hairballs) but nothing would come up, and after a day of that he even stopped drinking water. Brought to a local vet where they do surgery etc and the xrays showed his stomach full. The attached pic is what was pulled out of his stomach. $4000 for emergency stomach surgery for this young cat. He is recovering well, but no pet owner should have to go thru this. The manufacturer should stop selling these balls.

Small Balls. Not recommended. Choking hazard.
These are not the same size as the regular sparkle balls that are sold at pet stores. These balls are much smaller and could easily be a choking hazard, especially for a full grown cat. The ball can fit inside an adult cat's mouth and while a mouthful can be swallowed without difficulty, These balls measure approximately 1" (25mm) when measuring the dense interior, not the sparkle filaments. The regular size sparkle balls sold in pet stores are approximately 2" with the jumbo size sparkle balls being more than double that size. Please see the attached photograph for a comparison of the sparkle balls. I honestly hope this helps someone make an educated decision.I will continue buying the much more expensive, larger sparkle balls from pet stores until I can find one that is comparable size. Saving a few bucks is not worth the potential risk to our kitties.

DONT RISK YOUR CATS HEALTH
Bought these because my mix breed is absolutely crazy about a similar one that came with a pack of toys, but other than that he doesn’t enjoy regular cat toys. Immediately he looked excited to see so many fluffy balls, but made a gagging face as soon as he approached them and ran away shaking his head. I quickly collected them all off of the floor, and smelled them-very plastic-y, but i know plastic doesnt bother my cat. In fact he’s more excited to receive packages than I am lol. I tried once more to give him a single ball, and he gagged and ran off shaking his head. Something is up. DONT give these to your cats. I cut it open because they feel like there are little beads inside, and I figured maybe that would be the issue, but there’s nothing. Whatever chemical is on this, I don’t want my cats to deal with. I see reviews of people washing them and giving them to their pets as well, but also the reviews about the dangerous size leading to extreme health issues—guys, there are better, safer toys out there! These are way smaller than expected, and my boy’s reaction to these is all I needed to see. No way.

choking hazard
This product is very dangerous, at first we were delighted because our cat just loved them. Then we found him chewing them like they were food. I was in my office and he was eating, and then he immediately threw up. In the middle of his thrown up food, was one of these balls. It could have lodged in his throat or blocked his intestinal system. No one should by these, they can cause injury or even worse.

My cat is obsessed.
They are smaller than the other balls that are sold and, while another reviewer commented on them being a choking hazard, my cat has never tried to swallow or eat them. She carries them around like they are prey and will even play "fetch" occasionally. The fact that they are small and lighter than the other types means they are very easy for the cat to flick with her paw to chase---and she loves that. The only downside is they easily get lost under furniture and cushions and I am constantly digging to find them (she completely ignores the larger kind).

Awesome quality
2018: adopted a very sick cat (bcas lied about him being well) for a year we hand fed, daily IVs, etc. Finally he overcame his liver problems and began eating normal but unlike normal cats he never wanted to play. Tried every dang you which made our other 2 cats super happy but our poor Sport was left out as he didn't like anything. One day my wife went to the dollar store and picked up a multi pack of cat toys which included a blue ball (no pun intended) similar to these.Little dude went ape shit for it. Chewed it to pieces in under 2 minutes. Problem is 1 for $1 and not lasting long was a financial issue. Then a few nights ago we were quarantine & chilling & day drinking and found these!!!Forgot about them until they arrived today. Little dude is sooooo happy, he actually meowed in excitement..The best part is he's been chewing on one for about a half hour now and it's holding up real good.Good price, fast shipping and excellent quality!! Our kitty thanks you 😊

Cats are weird.
My cat loves these... Every night he cries until I pick them all up from the floor and throw them at the wall. He leaps into the air to try and catch them before they hit the wall. I can't stop till he says so, or I get the most pitiful wails... The things we do for our cats....

At first my cats rejected them but after washing the balls they are happy
So I was happy that these balls were the same as what my cats go crazy over which I usually buy in an assortment pack. There are only two of these balls in the assortment pack that I get from Pets at Home and they get lost very quickly. So I decided to buy this pack. At first my cats rejected these balls and when I observed carefully I noticed that they did not seem to like the smell. They were even doing a mock throw-up face after smelling them and then refused to play with them. I then washed the balls with some cat shampoo and my cats are now ok with them and have been playing like crazy.

Great for cats but not for kittens
Our cats rarely play with toys, but both of our cats love these balls. Their kittens also loved them but they were able to pull the sparkly string bits out, which can be harmful to the kittens if ingested, so we had to take them away from them. Our adult cats do not pull the strings out, so we brought them back out when the kittens were all adopted and gone...

Favourite toy
My kitty got two of this type of ball in a Christmas stocking last year and loved them. A few weeks ago she finally managed to loose both of them completely and was bereft. I decided to take pity and ordered this bag and she is happy again (even if she did loose the first one I took out within a couple of hours! I swear they go wherever odd socks and earrings go, never to be seen again!)

Favourite toy
When my kitties were kittens, we were gifted a big bag of toys. We got two balls just like these. My cats went crazy for these balls! But of course they're small and get lost easily.I bought these to buy off my sulkiest cat when I brought their tiny, loud human sister home! The cats love them. They chase them everywhere. Lots come in the bag. Good quality. Will be ordering again!

Too light
My cat likes to play fetch, but these balls don’t really have any weight to them and aren’t any good for throwing.
