Good Book, Terrible Kindle Version
It’s a good fishing read, albeit for M2¢W, not quite in the league of Maclean or Gierach. I do like his parables of human food to fishy preference, and, as he should given his pedigree, he writes very well indeed. My 3 stars is given for the incredibly poor quality of the Kindle version - numerous typos ought not to be on such a volume - for example, Fd instead of I’d, many times therein, as in, ‘that afternoon, Fd chuck my fly upstream’ - Really, in a Twentieth Anniversary edition? This should cost $3, not $15!

Spring Creek, the beauty of the stream
I really enjoyed this book. The author does an amazing job capturing what drives us to fish and how we change as we get older, and how the river changes. A great read if you're stuck inside and need to dream of days on the river fishing.

must read
I've read through 68% of the whole book and I'm very pleased with what I read in it. Its very well written as I'm transported to the creek myself every time I pick up from where I leave it the night before. If I can travel in time I would buy this book again and again, glad I did :-)

Classic, required reading!
Spring Creek is a classic read that should not be missed by anyone who fly fishes and dreams of the "perfect fly fishing experience." Lyons writes about us, the regular, average fly fisher and our doubts about our fishing skills and worthiness to be in such a wonderful place. This book spoke to me, it was about me, I loved it. Read it and you'll love it as well.

Spring Creek
Lyons' writing on his Spring Creek experiences brings one to see what he is seeing and experiencing. It is an inspiring book and allows those who have not experienced that type of fly fishing to understand the challenges encountered fishing this type of water. Wonderful book.

A reminder of times past and present
This book gives us a glimpse of past fishing in Montana with the hopes and possibilities of seeing it in Montana today, thanks to the work of many committed conservation groups and individual fishermen.

anyone who enjoys fly fishing will enjoy this book
This book met my expectations. As I am an avid trout fisherman, Mr. Lyons' book "preaches to a member of the choir." So, anyone who enjoys fly fishing will enjoy this book.
