It works!
After a disaster with a different brand, I'm thrilled to say that this card reader actually works! I used the same cards that failed with the other reader. The Transcend read them perfectly. I'm happy.

If you're having problems with CompactFlash cards larger than 128GB, try this card reader. Solved my problem -- 256GB card now works perfectly. Tested on Windows 10, Windows 11 and Sonoma on Apple Silicon

Bought this as a more dedicated way to get media off SD cards rather than one of the more generic multi USB dongles. Fast read and transfer speeds, definitely needed when moving larger video files or batches of photos.
