Hanger 9 sealing iron sock
I’ve been using the Hanger 9 sealing iron sock for years. They’re well made, good value as described by the vendor, fits the Hanger 9 sealing iron very well, & arrived on promised date.

Important thing to have when you’re ironing sealing film
In the old days I never use this but I started recently and it keeps the film covering clean as long as you pull the film a little taunt this is easier on the film it’s well worth the few extra dollars you have to put in to use it on your plane, these work great I’m probably going to buy five or six

It's a great value and it's a quality tool
The price was right and I used it to restore an old model airplane I have several hours of use with it so far and and it's works flawless I definitely recommend

Great accessory for your covering iron
Does just what's its supposed to do! Prevents scratches to covering and keeps the iron clean...I've seen some reviews where the buyer was confused by the product and gave bad reviews. This sock is not designed to be opened and the iron is not supposed to go inside the sock. It covers only the bottom. To install you pull the drawstring tight so the sock comes up around the sides of the iron. No sock will last forever they are subject to high heat and the fabric will degrade over time. This is normal!

Fits My 30 Year Old Hobbico Iron
Recently returned to the RC hobby and needed a sock for my old iron. This on fits my 30 year old Hobbico iron perfectly. Very soft material and seems well made.

Not The Best But All That's Available
Since Top-Flite (Hobbico) went out of business their hot sock (TOPR2175) is no longer available - discontinued. That's unfortunate because they were absolutely the best! The Hangar 9 socks are OK but the string that secures the sock to the iron is very thin and breaks easily. Otherwise it's as good as it gets until someone/somewhere makes a better product.OH, in my view the Hangar 9 version is over priced! Until you get it shipped to your house you'll likely pay the better part of fifteen bucks for this product.
