RadioShack VHS Videotape Rewinder

Even though the rewinder stopped working after about 15 times I don't believe it was the sellers fault except the same thing happened to last one I bought from a different seller. I don't know if the sellers know they are buying defective stock or not but I'm beginning to see why Radio Shack went out of business.

I do not know why there are so many negative comments on this item, keep in mind the last vhs rewinders were manufactured quite some time ago, with that said the Radioshack Vhs rewinder came nicely packaged, with the power cord bubble wrapped and protected along with the Vhs rewinder in its original packaging. Works as intended and expected, ejects the videotape when rewinding is complete.

just never really worked right. Often would labor and never rewind the tape or it would continue to pull or be engaged after the tape was rewound. I initially thought my son's user error or a bad tape, but after a few weeks on multiple tapes, I pulled it and replaced it. It was also extremely expensive though I suppose out of production.

Except it broke too soon. I re-wound 2 tapes and when rewinding the third it would not work. The motor would run but it would not rewind the tape.

Its okay, because at least it does rewind the full tape, but it doesn't stop.... I have to keep eye on it.. It scraps the tape at the end.. And I'm always afraid that it will tape the tape right off... But, its better than the other two I bought, the ones that look like cars.. They ruined several of my tapes... And I hadn't even watched them yet.. So I now have 3 rewinders... But, this one is better than nothing, until I find one that really does what it says its going to do... I spent 47.00 thinking it would be better.. ha... big mistake... So you take you chances on these.. I had one for years and never had any problems.. it just wore out....

This is a fantastic machine, fast and quiet. One of the best purchases I’ve done in a long time. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Easy to use just pug it in and press panel on top to open. Rewinds the tape then opens when done.
