Works very well in my Roomba 805, battery seems to run longer between charges then I remember OEM running when new. Sure hope it lasts!

I have a Roomba 677 and purchased this battery after my original finally failed. This new one unfortunately wouldn't keep a charge after a month. I contacted the seller, they replied within a day and they sent me a new one (in record time I might add!!). I've had no problems with it since. I may have just got a lemon to begin with. Thank you so very much!!

The price and specs are a winner, and I wanted this to work. The description says it works for the Roomba 980, but it gave charging errors when installed in mine. They sent a replacement right away, but alas, it gave the same error. The original factory battery, and a different brand also still work with no "charging error, so it's this battery, not the Roomba that has an issue.Though the battery doesn't work for my machine, customer service is good.

The last time I replaced the battery it cost more than twice this one from the factory. This one is just as good.

I was skeptical as I'm replacing a NiMH battery with a Lithium. I know they require different chargers, but this battery claims to be compatible with the Roomba's original charger. I presume it contains some circuitry to enable compatibility. It installed easily in my model 552 and seems to work fine. My old tired battery was down to 5 minutes run time. With the new battery, I'm getting over 2 hours. I'm only 5 days in so we'll see how long this battery lasts. The battery included documentation for an AC Adapter, which makes no sense. I assume they put in the wrong documentation.

The battery arrived at 14.44 volts, I installed it and placed my 880 on the dock. When it was fully charged I measured it again and it was 16v which is good, it means the charging is stopping at 4v per cell which is a very safe range for lithium cells. Most chargers for 18650 cells cut off around 4.15v-4.2v so 4v will increase lifespan. After that I unplugged the dock and released the Roomba. At 1 hour it wanted to dock but only because my model does that. I restarted it and it ran another hour so I restarted again. At this point I was surprised the battery icon was still green after 2 hours running. At around 2 hours 30 minutes the icon went yellow, by the time it stopped at 3 hours it was orange, and I restarted yet again. It ran 5 minutes and went red, at 10 minutes Roomba announced recharge battery and shut off. Figuring maybe the Roomba was wrong I restarted it and yep it ran 45 more minutes then died for real. 3 hours and 55 minutes on mostly carpet with throw rugs and cat hair in an 880 battery hog is amazing. I can't even imagine how long it would last in a 500 or 600 series on hard floors, 5-6 hours? So when it was depleted I checked it again and got 12.70v which puts each cell at 3.175v well above the normal 2.5v low threshold and right on par for 3.2 which is where most devices shut down. I can't say anything about lifespan but the slow curve and drop off are pretty good indicators the cells used are healthy. I have pretty good battery knowledge and spent allot of time with Prius NIMH hybrid packs and 18650 lithium cells and I would have to say initially I'm impressed and would say if you're trying to decide which brand you want to gamble on, gamble on this one.

Got the first battery and worked for about a week and things went downhill from there with my room a 960. Battery was no longer fully charging and constantly causing errors... in the middle of the night it lights up and issues error 7. No reset etc. fixed it so contacted vendor and got a replacement within a few days - prompt response and greatly appreciated.However after another 4 weeks I’m exactly in the same place ... today is another exercise of now 8+ hours and still no end in sight.So I’m done with it ... not worth my money nor my sleep.Back to original parts ... despite the price difference and likely some proprietary software causing this but the original battery worked for 3 years doing its daily chore within 75 minutes until the battery was no longer holding the full charge.

Put it in our old Romba six months ago and it works like a charm.

Glad we can still get battery replacement for robo

The battery started off with lots of capacity and lasted much longer than the factory unit. After a couple months though, the red battery warning and red triangle would start flashing on my 960 when docked and the Roomba wouldn't run for more than 15-20 minutes before needing a recharge.

Longer run time than the original had when new.When first installed it didn't make contact even with the case closed, but that was because the foam pads in the Roomba were flattened out, pushing lightly on the battery made contact so I added a thin foam strip to the battery and that was enough to make solid contact but still properly close.

Everything was as shown on the site. All of it was easy to replace as required.
