As soon as I put my Fearless looking owl out side. I notice that the rodent squirrels that dig out my plants eat my coconuts before they have a chance to fully develop, and ruined my lemon tree. Is no longer intruding my plants or just not coming in my back yard. The family of beautiful blue jays stop feasting on my perennials. I did not relize that there is an on and off button on the solar panel.I start to return it thinking that it was not working. Once I turned it on the Owl works as advertised.

My problem was chipmunks digging in containers on my deck-overnight or early in the morning. I’ve had no problem since putting this owl out on my deck. I do move it to different spots a couple times a week. I filled it with sand-has stayed put in very high winds. Disappointed that eyes don’t glow more than 2 or 3 hours after dark-despite full sun during day. No sound or motion detection on this model.

Bought this to keep birds and rabbits away from my garden, works great but you need to relocate it to different spots so they don’t get use to it in one location,Actually have a few of them around

If you are looking for a plain plastic owl to place outside, this will work for you. I needed the eyes to light up to help deter critters from eating my garden. This is useless.

This product works as described with the solar-powered LED lights, but did not work in scaring away squirrels and other pests attacking our vegetable garden.

This is the third owl that I've bought. But this one is far the best. I have crow problems. The first owl helped years ago so I bought a second one which completely cleared out all the crows. This winter was not good to them. I lost one to bees making a home in it and it broke. It was old and time to replace. After a few weeks I noticed that the crows were coming back into my yard. Something that hadn't happened in 15 years. Then I started looking again for another replacement. Went to my faithful Amazon and saw this one. I can't say enough good about it. It's eyes light up at night. Something that my other ones didn't do. And within 1 day all the crows are gone. This is by far my best owl yet.

The glowing eyes are funny looking and it makes me laugh at night. I guess it keeps birds and squirrels away from my maters too.

At first, it did not work, pigeon just ignore the owl, after adjusted to different locations, finally found the right spot and pigeon saw it and fly away immediately. Happy finally it works.

This a realistic looking owl purchased to discourage pigons. So far so good but only has been set up for about 4 days. The birds seemto come and go so need a longer trial period.

Tried turning the off button to let it recharge and get some solar power build up but the power button hasn’t done anything.A short term use an wasted money- it should at least have a battery pack to boost its energy when the solar panel duds out.Into the garbage ☹️
