The D rings look well finished and smooth. I will use them on my bcd to keep my underwater camera. We'll see how they react to the salt water after few dives, especially the inside spring.

Perfect as a quick attach and release for carrying stuff on my rucksack. I leave one on each shoulder strap (right at the bottom) to clip a sun cap in and out of. They were the cheapest, strongest carabiners that I could find at the time and I made the right decision to buy these.I wouldn't use them for any climbing, so I have a strongest carabiner with my sling on my rucksack.

Hell-Fire. The humble carabiner sure has come a long way since my climbing/abseiling days. So small, light and most importantly apart from the fact these are self locking, was the 12KN (1200KG) load baring ability. Technology can be a wonderful thing, sometimes :-)

I agree with the consensus these are OK for general use e.g. clipping gear to rucksack, dog lead but......they are sold as "climbing carabiner heavy duty" and I consider them UNSUITABLE for climbing.They have a loose gate with an action that often sticks and doesn't close properly. For a little more you could buy proper climbing gear.

Relatively easy to use with one hand. I am using them to tether my dogs to when waiting to go on a walk. There previous double ended lead had a clip for clipping to the tether point where as current rope leads don’t. Very happy with this product and a good solution to our problem.

Delivered quickly. Great to use on my hiking and very easy to use it one-handed when you get used to it. This doesn't take long. Very light and very sturdy. The ease of use to open and the self-locking make these a must-have. Highly recommend.

Brilliant for clipping dog leads to car at end of walk whilst they have a drink.
