I was hesitant to purchase this since it is a bit expensive, but my husband is experiencing back pain and needed something that allows him to switch from sitting to standing as needed. We tried another riser with a lever lifting mechanism, but the weight of his four monitors made it extremely difficult to adjust the height. His monitors also seemed very unstable as we moved it. The VersaDesk riser is so much better. It easily lifts his monitors without making them shake. Plus, he can adjust it to the exact height he needs rather than being locked into a few set heights, as was the case with the other manual riser. The USB port by the lift buttons is also a nice addition and allows him to easily keep his phone charged and within reach. I really appreciated that it was fully assembled, aside from attaching the keyboard tray. Overall it seems like an excellent product.

I'm pregnant and finding that sitting or standing for too long aggravates my back. With this product I'm able to effortlessly move up and down at the push of a button. I've used desks with manual lift and lower before and I was afraid that would strain my back even more if I got that so I spend a bit more for the automatic. No regrets. This just makes it so easy- I have the thought to stand or sit and I'm up or down in 5 or so seconds. I purchased the maple finish and it's a nice quality. It matches my maple office desk nearly perfectly.

Well made, easy to assemble. The worst part of this setup is clearing and cleaning your desk to make room for it.

I was replacing another standing desk and heard Versadesk standing desks were high quality and reliable.So far I'd have to agree with that; very attractive. roomy and the the motor that raises & lowers the desk seems reliable.I didn't give 5 stars only because of one reason: the desk shakes when I type. Because my camera is perched above my monitor this means typing in a video conference causes the whole frame to bounce. This bouncing image (due to the standing desk) is not how I want to present myself. I've worked with moving my keyboard elsewhere and all different desk height settings.. and it seems this is one thing I can't resolve.I'll live with it, however, because every other part of this standing desk is just as desired.
