I bought the box intending to paint it but the wood is so pretty and the box is very nicely made so I am going to leave it natural.

The media could not be loaded. don’t go banging this box around it’s thin and fragile but it does what i need it to do

Attractive & useful box
I got this box to store a leather strop & stropping compounds. It is the size I need. The wood was smooth- no rough edges or splinters. I like the inside hinge, that keeps the lid from flopping all the way back.I also like the lock; it looks good & stays closed when I need it to.I was able to label it with my wood burner & seal it with linseed oil, which it absorbed readily. Highly recommended.

Super nice wooden box!
I bought this to go outside for my pond power supplies to stay out of the rain. I painted it and everything fit nicely. It looks perfect, all the seams are tight, it is a high quality wooden box!

Not a box to be used often - more of a storage only type.
Not as good as stated. The latch does not line up correctly. The hinges were painted black like the rest of the box. If used often, it most likely won't hold up. I am returning it and will look for a better box.

My brother loved this as a little "catch-all" box.
