This is the favorite! My birds love this one as well as others by planet pleasure. I have 3 birds (2 Conures and an Amazon). I order large for all of my birds and the occasional small for the conures just to have something extra for them. Once they start demoliting it a bit I also hide treats in them for foraging. It's their favorite!

I thought the large would be big enough for my rose breasted cockatoo, but it wasn't. And $13 seemed too much so for something so small, so I returned it. I guess we had an XL one in the past that he really enjoyed, and after he pulled the insides out, we stuffed shredded paper and treats inside a few times before it was rendered useless and had to be replaced.

I have a Blue and Gold Macaw so I order the large size. She gets bored easily so finding her different types of foraging toys helps to keep her engaged. They are brightly colored and not wrapped to tightly. The fun can be over very quickly however as she will go to the top section that is very thin and chew through that very quickly causing it to drop to the bottom of the cage. As long as she avoids the top thin area, the toy will last her awhile. I hang this as high up in her cage as I can.I would like to recommend to the manufacturer of this toy to not make that narrow part so long to prevent this from happening. It is very disheartening to purchase a toy and have it fall before the bulk of the toy can be played with.When large parts drop down, if they are clean, I will use them as a stuffing in a home made toy however, I would have preferred that it be used as it is intended since that is what I purchased it for.I will be looking for other foraging toys in the future that have a bit more stamina to keep my girl happy and entertained.

This is a really cool and very large paper shredding toy for a range of bird sizes (and I only bought the size large - the XL must be huge). I have two green cheek conures and this thing is about the same size as them, just wider. Seeing as how the pieces poking out of it are fairly thin, I think even smaller birds could get their beaks on it and have fun shredding it. I also think a larger medium bird or even a big parrot could have some fun with it, though I'm sure it wouldn't last as long. It is very well made, as most Planet Pleasures toys seem to be, and it's very sturdy. Mine weren't the least bit interested in it for a while (and one of them was terrified of it for the first few days), but after putting it in the cage of my more rambunctious baby, it's finally getting some use after having it for months. Even after he obviously worked pretty hard to tear it up he's still only ripped little pieces off. Overall, this is a great and neat looking toy that will take most birds a while to tear apart.
