Just what I needed to build over the Thanksgiving holiday. Took me 2 weekends to build.Very challenging. But just what i needed since i no longer have the patience to build scaled/detailed plastic kits.The design or thought put into the building of this kit is very impressive!Finding the right size battery with the correct connector and RX144 receiver (Spektrum) was kind of aggravating.Next kit will include batteries, charger and receiver.

Didn't come with remote. A LOT of pieces!

It's definitely inexpensive, but it's not a child's toy.Although the cutting is done well, the dimensions of the pieces are not very precise so you need to intervene with the file to make the pieces fit together.The assembly instructions for the electrical parts are flawed and the holes in the motor mount do not match those in the housing and need to be made oval in order to attach the motor to the aircraft. Also, the holes in the housing are small and must be enlarged before using the three self-tapping screws or you risk splitting the wood.The assembly of the moving parts is also not very clear and you risk having everything stiff. I would try to detach the rudders and elevators from the fins and fins and then attach them with hinges to smooth the movement.There are parts in the package that are identified in the general plan, but not mentioned in the assembly instructions. They are probably pieces to be used either as spares or to strengthen holes that are too weak.Neither transmitter nor receiver are suggested so, once the transmitter is chosen, it becomes difficult to find a receiver that will use the servo and motor mini-connectors (they are JST 2/3 poles 1mm while the battery uses mini molex pitch 2.54 mm).Other than that, once assembled with care it looks good.The supplied brushless motor does not have enough power. The one I received has only 20g of thrust and the model weighs 50g.Maybe they put the wrong motor in the box: it looks like a drone motor.Better are the brushed motors with the gearbox that provide about 55g of thrust.

With the exception of getting a bad motor right out of the box it is a really nice very small kit. I chose the brushles outrunner version of the kit as it is also offered as a brushed version. I would buy another kit by this manufacture if they replace the bad motor.

Laser cut and well explained instructions, I would buy and build again!
