Fantastic plant light!
I bought one of these little plant lights for some plants I had in a dark corner and it worked so well that I got several more! I love how easy it is to set up and adjust the color/brightness. The plants I wanted to use it with don't need full sun, so being able to tone the brightness down was great. The timer works very well and I like that my plants get consistent light every day. They are now thriving on top of my hutch! The design is very cute as well which is nice. I also like that it just stakes into the dirt instead of having to mess around with a bulky clip that might not even work where I want to put the plant. This design is much more versatile and aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I don't like about this light is the blue light on the control pad. It's helpful for using the timer, but I wish it didn't stay on when the light is completely off (not using timer function). I have one of these lights for a dark corner of my bedroom and at night the blue light is kind of bright.

Perfect for low light plants in an office
My employer wasn't sure about having a grow light in the office but now they see it really does not impact their electric bill in any noticeable way and it doesn't get hot to the touch even after running for 8 hours. Now everyone with an office lacking natural light is wanting to know where I got this. The plants clearly are happy and are starting to turn a bit towards the light so I spin the pots a little daily. The light has 3 different settings for plants at any stage growth. The cord it much longer than I needed to I twisted a lot of the cord around the pole to keep things neat and tidy.

Ordering more - these quirky lights are ❤
I just "installed" 2 of these lights in yellow today. Installation basically was plugging into USB port on wall outlet and sticking extension rod in pot. I do want to make the cord a bit more discreet by attaching to rod, but that's minor adjustment. I almost don't care if the timer works I'm so excited by the umbrella lights.Super glad I bought them with yellow umbrella top. Coordinates perfect with my artwork and sunny color. I have quirky artwork and these are like little sculptures sticking out of my pots. So easy to adjust height of rod - do push it all the way into the pot or it will start leaning. My plants look so happy. One more thing - at least one reviewer said the umbrella just sat on top of the light. My light and umbrella top are securely connected. The instructions tell you how to attach. I just ordered 2 more. Not even going to wait for timer test.Update: Timer works perfectly. Really nice to have it built-in. My Christmas cactus looks noticeably perkier after only 2 days. Can't wait to give more of my indoor plants the light they crave.Update 2: I decided I like the cord just the way it is, no need to tie down in my case. The "umbrellas" look a bit like jellyfish floating above my plants. This has been a huge success in tranforming my windowless kitchen into an oasis of greenery. I recently added some herbs which I never thought I'd be able to grow in my city kitchen. I'm up to 6 lights and not overwhelming at all even in a small space. My anthurium now has gorgeous flowers. At this point I have succulents, anthurium, dish garden, 3 kinds of basil, and culantro all happily growing with these fabulous lites. So easy to move plants around, 3-5 smallish plants only need 1 grow lite. There are other umbrella colors to chose from. Seller is great. Assembly is ridiculously easy. Hard part was getting up at 7am so my lights would be on from 7 until 11pm.One month in - my succulents are healthier, fuller, greener. Adding 2 pics taken one month apart of one of my plants from same angle

Compact, good design, plants respond to it, cord is short
I bought two of these to use in specific compact areas, and they work better for some than others.PROS:- proper on/off toggle allows these to be used with an external timer, which those dimple button-style switches on other LEDs do not; this is a significant plus for the way I prefer to control my lights- compact, aesthetically pleasing, functional design with successful telescope rod that stays in place; design is elegant overall- cord is thin and clear-ish; it’s not perfect but less obtrusive than many- my plants respond to it, so whatever light is being put out is noticeable to them- light color is aesthetically pleasing to humansCONS:- cord is not long enough to use with my hanging plans and reach the outlet without involving an ugly extension cord; check the cord length for your intended use caseJURY STILL OUT:- haven’t measured light output for spectrum or intensity yet, which will tell me how this compares to a regular lightbulb and to other grow lights (an important factor in value-for-money assessment)- Only a few weeks have passed, so we will see how they hold up over time- heat output: the other day, I thought the shade of one of these seemed hot; going to have to watch that as heat could be important for the health of plants, safety of these lights, and more

Plants thriving
I got this light in hopes it would perk up my prayer plant. This plant was in a spot that was not getting much sunlight. This light worked perfectly. You can see how much new growth I have got.I got the two pack. My other plant loves it as well. They are easy to use and the timer works great. Also, my company comments how cute they are.

A nice alternative to industrial-style grow lights
Overall, I like this light. The shade is attractive and keeps the light from blinding anyone. The extendable post is relatively stable, and its nice that the cord is clear so it isn't too obvious hanging down. The plug works with a remote outlet (I supplied that) which is nice since I placed it somewhere that makes the switch on the cord difficult to reach. In my experience, not all of these lamps will turn back on with a remote outlet. I also like that it looks like a lamp more than an industrial light, and that it's white full spectrum, not that horrible pink of so many grow lights. Some cons are the price compared to other grow lamps I have of a similar size, and the cord length is quite short, which limits where you can put it. I don't love how limited the timer is, but that can be controlled with a remote outlet.I likely wouldn't buy two, but I do like this one enough to keep it.

Fantastic Product
Used these lamps to give light to my indoor plants when I sleep during the day and have all the curtains closed. They work fantastic. My plants have really responded to the light and there is no heat. Really great product. The only issue I have is that the cords could be a bit longer, but that's more of a space issue.

Works!
The media could not be loaded. From the two weeks since I bought it, I have seen a significant change in my two plants.1. 1 year old Peperomia: for months, the leaves would stretch towards the indirect light from the east facing window and made it leggy. Canada winters mean less light and very dry. I admit I haven’t been misting or using my humidifier enough and the big leaves have dried and curled (also, the LED *could* have contributed to that but I’m not 100% sure.) After using the light, finally got new growth sprouting. Also, the stems are now a lot more vibrant red than before. See pics.2. My 1.5 year old ivy also only gets indirect light from an east facing window. The leaves started getting dark and small from fall until January. Smaller root systems altogether dried or rotted and I had to pull them out. Once I cut off the lackluster growth and added the LED, suddenly the new growth is chartreuse and much larger, growing at a much faster rate than before. See video and pic.I’m really impressed considering some mixed reviews. I’m buying two more. Thanks.

The plants really like the light output.
The light output seems to be keeping the plants healthy. It is very small though. Only suitable for small pots. Wish there were more timer settings. The top of the light also gets extremely hot which is concerning considering this is a LED.
