I like them better than the wrap around garter style, for sure!
I like the dual function of these shirt stays. I don't have to pull my socks up or tuck my shirt in anymore! They took a bit of getting used to compared to the thigh garter style stays I was using, but they work better and adjustment is far easier. The only downside I have found is with a thinner "slick" shirt, sometimes the shirt clips slip off. I bent the clips a bit so the ends clamp more tightly and they are doing well since then.

Eight years of use.
Only my second set in 8 years! I wore my first set almost daily for the last eight years and only recently did it start to lose some grip and elasticity. This set is very well-made and allows me to carry on with my day without having to adjust my shirt. It is almost invisible, unless you wear pants that are too tight and thin. It's a great choice and I look forward to wearing it for years to come.

Great product
Works great, hasn’t broken yet. It’s a little uncomfortable to wear, but I’m getting used to it. Overall great product, would buy again.

Perfect Solution to Keep Your Shirt Tucked In All Day!
For years I could not understand how some men always had their shirts perfectly tucked in even after working in the office all day. I thought there something must be wrong with me. I had gained a little weight but I was not obese, yet my shirt always came out either partially to make me look wrinkled after sitting, standing or bending over. I had to constantly go to the bathroom to tuck my shirt in before every meeting. I even tried ordering shirts with longer tails thinking that I must have the wrong size shirts. Same problem. So I scoured the internet for a solution. I read all about men's garters, my father used them in the military and then I found the "World's Best Shirt Stays" here on Amazon. OMG! After years of having my shirttails creep up or out, could it be that all I needed was this product? Yep, that's right! This is one of the most amazing products I have ever owned. No kidding, and no fluff.Once you put them on, you can't help but wonder if you will feel them all day or if they will cause fatigue by pulling on you as they are elastic. At first you can feel them but then you don't notice them the rest of the day. I live in NY and Los Angeles and I am always on the go, jumping in and out of cars, cabs, limos, subway trains, steps and so much more. Not once have these shirt stays unclipped from my shirt or socks, and my shirt stays tucked in perfectly all day!Now my friends have asked me how I keep my shirt tucked in and looking so good, that I started giving this product as a gift! Everyone absolutely loves them. I did try the originals first, but find that I like the "Y" Style better for me. They also have a stirrup model for the military and law enforcement. The clips really grip and do not damage my socks or shirts. Very good quality and very comfortable to use and wear!I highly recommend this product if you want your shirt to stay tucked in all day and all night - simple but amazing product!

Shirt tucking game changer
I tried the stirrups and the Y version and like the Y version the best. The stirrups are functional but as other reviewers have stated, the band extending from the foot to the shirt-stay clips on the shirt can push the pant legs downward when sitting, creating an unnatural appearance if someone were to really study your leg. The Y version clips onto the top of your socks and then extends to 2 positions on either side of your shirt. I am 6'3" in height and these Y clips are just long enough (though they are at max length). For best results, I recommend attaching the clip to the 1 o'clock position of the left footed sock and the 11 o'clock position for the right footed sock. In this way, the band will extend across your knee instead of pushing your pant leg down when sitting, and it's actually more comfortable this way too. The 2 clips comprising the Y are best on the middle front and middle back of the shirt, in my experience. I align the bottom part of my shirt so that the clips will also clamp my undershirt as well. Some discomfort can be received from the clips at the sock position. I find it easily corrected by stuffing half a tissue behind the clip to provide some cushioning, both to rectify the occasional leg hair from being pulled and to ease the feeling of a metal object being pressed into your skin for hours on end. Mind you, you will look completely ridiculous if someone took off your pants, but the setup works great with them on and reveals nothing. For #2 restroom encounters, it can be awkward to troubleshoot your under britches with the clips still attached. I recommend detaching the sock clips for easier logistics. It can be done without unclipping, but it takes some practice (and skill). Finally, for undressing at the gym, it's not as awkward as it may seem, so long as no one is (creepily) watching you undress. Simply sit down, unclip at the top of each sock, take your socks off, then as you stand up to unzip your britches, you can reach down into the pant to unclip the 2 clips on either side, pull the shirt-stays out to stuff them in your gym bag, and continue accordingly. The shirt-stays have completely changed the way I perceive myself in office clothes. No more baggy, unkempt shirt coming untucked. No more surreptitious shirt tail corrections with my hands venturing down inside my slacks. I can walk in confidence knowing that my shirt will stay tucked in throughout the day, thereby allowing my mental image to remain pristine.
