Great series
My child loves the Maisy books - colors are good & my child gets excited about these as they do screen time. The packaging was lacking with my order though - they used a mailer that was too snug and the tape edge was stuck on the book upon arrival. They resent it to me and the second shoes up with no flaws!

I also like that it teaches kids to pick up their toys ...
My 2.5 year old is obcessed with vacuums.. so when we saw Maisy (we had previously read Maisy goes to bed) with a shop vac... we were hooked. My son reads this book almost daily and loves to see maisy clean the house. I also like that it teaches kids to pick up their toys before they vacuum!!! If we want to clean up fast.. all I have to tell him is that we need to pick up our stuff so he can vacuum now. Love the colors and big fonts too.

Pure and simple stories for young children
My toddler class has fallen in love with the Maisy series! The simple illustrations and story are perfect for children 15 months to 4 years. As with each Maisy story there is a mention of a trait that opens up discussions. The floor was wet so the character had to wait for their treat. The treat being a mound of cupcakes could have been a bowl of beautiful fruit . . . If you are looking for sweet, simple stories, "gender neutral", check out the Maisy series.

Love Maisy and so does my son
Love Maisy and so does my son. I have tons of Maisy books because reading builds empathy, and if the main character is female, readers gain more ability to empathize with females. And Maisy isn't dressed all sexy, doesn't have long eyelashes or red lips, has male & female friends, and is just cute.

Fun book, but ends with cupcakes
This is a favorite Maisy of my daughters and it's always nice to have a book they like that is about cleaning up! I wanted to caution parents that it ends with eating cupcakes, which my kids love to read about, but if your kids get easily upset about not getting to have treats, it could be a hard book to read to them.

Nice, short Maisy book!
Great Maisy book.Only thing is, these very inexpensive ones are also VERY short. So if you're used to the hard-cover library Maisy books, this will seem quite brief. But... for a toddler, that's not a big deal. And the story is pretty cute, and introduces the concept of cleaning up the house.Recommended.
