Imperial Topaz 'B' Grade Facet Rough - 25 Carat Lot | Lapidary for Faceting, Wire Wrapping, Reiki

When you are buying from a "lot" of rough gems, you don't always know what you are getting. You could get several little stones that equal 25 carats, or you could get one bigger one. My 25 carats came as a single piece, measuring (very) roughly 1.5 cm X 1.5 cm X 1.25 cm, which was really what I was hoping for. I chose a grade "B" because I wanted something with character. It has some nice, shiny, natural facets, and a few little mineral inclusions, as well as a small fracture that picks up the light. In short, I will never have any problem finding my personal stone out of a batch of others. In fact, I am reasonably sure that you can see the stone I got in the second picture. It is the little, light yellow/orange one near the center. Since I plan to wire wrap it and use it as a pendant for a natural stone necklace, it is exactly what I wanted.
