It is a very low priced item. I read many reviews stating the low quality of the product. I'm not going to argue about it, but, reading the description and the reviews, I decided to order it. And, I am very satisfied!Some people were complaining about the top being very flimsy, (paper like fabric) and prone to tears. Knowing that, I simply sew some fabric I had on the top, BEFORE I washed it.Then, I washed it following the directions: cold water and air dry...Yes, the fabric is thin, most reviews say so. So, I was warned and did not expect anything else...It is now on my bed-frame and simply does the job it was purchased for. I did not bother to iron it, I don't mind about the pleats being sharp...Well, to my opinion, for the price, it fits the bill.What else do you want?

I ordered two of these as we are revamping our guest rooms , I was a little uneasy about some of the reviews I'd read but figured for the price it was worth a shot. I am happy I ordered these, they are perfect! Every bit as substantial as any other simple white bedskirt I've seen in stores such as JC Penneys or Belk. I washed and dried these, then starched and ironed them ( I mean, why not? Once they are on the bed I will not take them off until next spring for spring cleaning and a good starch makes all fabric look it's best) and they look great on the beds. No regrets, if I need more for the other rooms I will order these again.
