Combined w/ a Wet Treat, My Cat Loves It
My longhair cat is prone to some pretty nasty hairballs, and a bit of research brought me to this product. Not only is this a great price for the amount you get + how long it should last, but it actually seems to have worked quite well after just a week or so. It’s been the difference of about 1-2 big hairballs every couple days down to just one this whole week, and for once it didn’t bring all the food in her stomach out with it.I will say, even though it’s tuna flavored she won’t eat it alone or in her dry food. However, she’s crazy about Temptations Lickable Spoons, so I put the required amounts of this remedy right on top of the treat and she licks it off first with no prob. If you’re having a similar issue, I highly recommend trying a *wet* food or treat with a fish flavor as well so the texture and taste blend in :) Overall great product and I’ll be repurchasing

Gets the job done
My baby, Bitty, was constipated. She normally poops daily and she hadn’t pooped a good poop in 2 days. She had only pooped a couple very small (quarter sized) poops in 2 days and she seemed to be in discomfort. I already had this product from the summer when she seemed to be hacking up more hairballs. This was actually the first time she had ever been constipated. She is 5 years, and 2 months old, and her undercoat just recently came in over the summer (bad timing, I know!) and we also recently got a kitty that she cleans too. Anyway- I tried just feeding it to her on a spoon thinking it would be like a treat, no go. I tried mixing it with her wet food that she gets in the morning, no go. So I asked my co-worker that had recommended it, she said to mix it with Gerber baby food, I tried all the flavors I thought she might like, no go. So then I followed the instructions on the label that basically say if you can’t mix it, put it on their nose or paws. It’s extremely sticky so I felt really bad doing this, and I’m sure you will too if you love your animal, which I have no doubt you do since you’re still reading this. Anyway, I put it on her paw and of course, since she’s a clean freak, she licked it off (it took awhile, when I say it’s sticky, I mean sticky.) The next morning I expected a big poop in the litter box and there wasn’t one. So I doubled the dose the second day, around the same time. She was still having like 3-4 quarter sized poops, so on the third day, I tripled the dose. And please don’t do what I did! It is not in the directions on the back at all. I’m a nurse, so of course, I think I am above directions- which I am not, and I know I should know better, but of course I started googling complications of constipation in cats, and mega-colon and all these things came up so I figured diarrhea was better than death. (Since as a nurse I’m programmed to think worst case scenario all the time). Anyway on the 4th day she started having diarrhea and it lasted for about 3-4 days. The first couple poops that came out were hard and firm from where she was constipated, but after that my poor baby lived by the litter box for the next couple days. I say that to say this- the product 100% works. Don’t be like me and try to rush the results. ESPECIALLY if you have an older cat. Luckily my Bitty is only 5, but if she was elderly I could have dehydrated her! Anyway the product is amazing and works, only downside is your cat might not like the flavor or texture, but if he or she needs it then I’m sure you’ll find a way to get it down. Also now that Bitty is all better, i started giving her hairball control dry food, and I put a probiotic supplement in her wet food in the morning to keep her regular. It’s been about a month since the constipation, and we haven’t had any issues.

From Meow tuna yum to meow tuna yuck
The first 2 times I purchased this product I would have given it 5 stars. Back then not only did it help the furball problem; but my 2 cats loved the tuna flavor. So much so that I was calling it their furball candy. they were coming to me to get it and eating it from the tube. The last 2 tubes , still the tuna flavor, all they do is see the tube and run away. I have still used it but it is the once again fight and pushing the sticky stuff into the fur on their legs so they can't shake it off. It's just a shame that the tuna flavor now even smells like maple and who knows what it tastes like since I do have one cat that likes sweets.

Miracle cure!
I have a long-haired Main Coon mix named Leo. He meticulously grooms himself, then does the same to his 19-pound longer-haired Norwegian pal. A good day meant just one huge hairball; most days meant two or three. After trying fish oil and various other failed experiments, I broke down and bought some of this Tomlyn's stuff. Problem instantly and TOTALLY solved!I do have to give him about a 1" ribbon of it every day (it comes out of the tube like thick, gooey toothpaste.) If I miss a day I can expect a small hairball somewhere. I've tried both the tuna and the catnip flavors, and he loves them both so much he tries to eat them straight out of the tube. I just squeeze some of it into a small stainless steel bowl and he licks the bowl completely clean. Fortunately the Norwegian (who never gets hairballs) won't touch the stuff, so I know it ends up in the right cat!I tried a different brand of this stuff and Leo won't touch it, so I buy the Tomlyn's exclusively. Now I don't have search the bed every night before I climb in!

Loves it !
My cat lives the catnip flavor and begs for it each night. Really helping with her digestion and puking. She is older and needs some hairball help.

Not great for my kitty
Not sure if it works because I cant get my cat to down it enough. Its very sticky and slimy and falls off of his nose and paws when I put it on. It makes a mess because it does not stay solid even when in the fridge. Maybe the catnip flavor is no good?? Im going to return it and find another hairball remedy.
