I should have known, to good to be true, you pay for what you get, and this tailgate is junk, once I installed it, I thought it was going to be ok, but I was loading a desk inside my truck and stepped on the tail gate just like I have on my old Ford tail gate a million times, but this time I felt something sinking in!!! looked down, large sunken dent were I had placed one foot. The metal is thin, and the internal supports are not as good as the Ford OEM tail gate. Taking off and throwing it in the garbage can, What a waste of my time and money. save yours, get an OEM tail gate or junk yard gate, pay more but it will last.

Cheaply made.
There is definitely a reason why this is so cheap. The product fits my F250 well, however, like one of the other customers if you are planning to use the tailgate to work on or stand on it is not for you. The metal on this tailgate is much thinner than the original stock tail gate. I still have the original piece that bolts to the tailgate and it is the only place that I can stand on my tailgate.

Overall fit and dimensions was just like OEM specs. The thing I noticed was it was no where near as heavy as the OEM tailgate that I took off. It is not as strong as OEM but cosmetically perfect!

Tin foil bent easily by man of below average girth
This thing is made of super thin sheet metal, thinner than a stock tailgate by far. I weigh 140 pounds soaking wet and I have deformed my tailgate by standing on it. If you don't use your truck ever and leave your tailgate closed buy this, if you need a product made of quality materials move along

i opened the box and inspected the tail gate it was in perfect condintion i would have accepted some dents for shipping but they packed really well. i took it to the truck and it fit like a glove. i cant wait to get it painted and show it off!

Very happy with this tailgate. Extremely happy it arrived without even the slightest of a scratch. Very well packed. Looks just like o.e.m. Good job to fed x on delivering it undamaged.

You get what you pay for!
Supper thin steel. I'm 140 lbs. and just standing on it dented it.It had a few dents out of the box, not from shipping, from rolling over the seam for the outer skin.Can't return it cause it's all painted.
