Is there a cap lock indicator light?

Yes, it is on the upper right and clearly visible.

Are the letters durable/permanent on this keyboard? Can any longer-term users confirm?

I bought 5 of these for my company about 3 years ago. The letters came off of 1 of them. Looking back, the letters come off of all keyboards used by this user. It is her long fingernails that cause the issue. I use one of them myself. I have used it so much that I have worn down a shiny spot in the matte finish on the space bar. I still haven't had any technical difficulties from any of the 5.

I have keys with worn-off letters & some keys have grooves in them. Time for new keyboard. Does this one "click"? Old school here! thx mb

Only had a month but love it. I did buy a 4 port hub at the same time. My PC is very hard to reach behind. I plugged the keyboard into the 2usb slot and the mouse imto the 3usb slot. The price is excellent
