Nestle Polo Mint Roll England (12 Pack)

I bought these for my elderly mother who has to have a mint when her dentures make her feel sick. I buy the big bags of individually wrapped life$avers and if she doesn't eat them all she starts giving them away so I thought some rolls of mints might be a nice change for her. Mom remembered Polo mints from her days in Wales/England she said they were her favourite and I understand why. They are not nearly as strong as Altoids, and that is a good thing when you are 92. Life$avers, especially the wintergreen, although I like them, have a very strong, chemical fake flavour that can permeate right through the bag. Polo mints are more subtle in flavour and even though I ordered the pepermint the flavour is so mild it tastes like my real favourite--spearmint. (So I can't wait to try Polo's spearmint flavour.) I ordered twelve rolls but I can see that that will not nearly be enough if I start eating them. Fortunately they arrived way before they were expected. If your looking for a fresh new taste in mints I highly recommend Nestle Polo mints. I know I will be ordering more.

It has a similar taste as Altoids, but aren't nearly as strong. If you only like strong mints, this won't be for you. But if you enjoy a good minty flavor that won't numb your taste buds after a few then this is definitely for you.It's sweet without being tooth-rottening, it's minty without being overpowering. Each piece is hard yet soft enough to bite into right away if you like to do that. If you prefer to savor the candy and just suck on it, it will last a good five minutes sometimes (depending on how vigorously you're working on it).Life-Saver's have nothing on this, in my opinion. The best mint comes from England.

A British sweet that I just honestly prefer to the American alternatives. They are essentially no more expensive, so why not?Also, my ex-wife likes them, so when I buy these I give a three pack, and whether she chooses to give one each to our children is up to her. Anyway, it's just one more little positive thing I can do in my brain dead attempts to get her back.Love these mints.

If you love smooth minty taste that won't overpower your taste buds and have your mouth smell like that guy who wears too much cologne then these are for you. I enjoy them as a mint / sweet candy option. They serve two purposes for me...not to have funky bad breathe and a little sweet treat. Love them and glad I don't have to fly to the U.K. to fill me fix!

Love love love polo's one of a few things i miss about not living in UK, and i usually buy a stash on trips but ran out of time last trip. Thankful everything is available through Amazon but unfortunately this 12 pack arrived in a thousand pieces so will not buy from this seller again.

Ever since I first tasted these unique mints when my parents lived in England, I loved them. Recently I've found that they will also soothe my irritated stomach. Very helpful!

The only reason for the 4 stars was because the packaging wasn’t padded. So some of the mints have been broken. Otherwise, these are great mints if you are familiar with Polo mints. Unlike other peppermints that I’ve had, Polo mints aren’t as intense as other brands. Even though some were broken, these are a great price. Would definitely buy from again.

Found these in the U.K. and love them more than Lifesavers brand four in the states. They are more thin than Lifesavers, which is what I like. Plus, there are a lot more mints to a package.
