The mic on my Gtheos headset (less than ninety days old) stopped working and because the gtheos headsets or modular, I disconnected the mic that came with it and replaced it with this. The length is perfect and I sound like I’m sitting right next to my friends when I play COD with them. I highly recommend this product if you need to replace your mic. Since it’s turtle beach you know the quality is top notch and it beats replacing a $30 headset when you can spend thirteen bucks and get a brand new mic. Shipping was great at two days and I can’t say enough good things about this microphone.

Replaced the one on my Logitech g pro headset. Its longer so it sits directly in front of your mouth giving better audio quality.

Bei dem Preis hatte ich nicht viel erwartet, doch für diesen ist das Mikrofon sehr gut. Ich hatte es gekauft, da ich mein original Ansteckmikro für mein Headset verlegt habe. Es wurde ohne Probleme von meinem PC (Windows 10) erkannt. Für diesen Preis kann man sich dieses Mikro definitiv holen.

I have a Plantronics headset I bought a while ago as a gaming headset, it has a removable mic and don't get me wrong, it's a great headset.... But there was a small issue i was made aware of. When i played online with friends they would complain about a hum that seemed to come from my microphone which they found distracting to say the least. I tried another mic i found and that was better and lost the hum but apparently the mix made my voice very boomy and they couldn't really understand what i was saying easily. So, I started looking for a replacement. This one was getting good reviews and offered 2 mics for the same that other sellers seemed to be selling one for... So I went for it. The only negative (and it's not a fault with the microphone itself) was that the mic I was replacing has a recessed port that has a shape to it that matches the shape of the original mic and so allowed this replacement (which is round) to spin. I got round this by getting some Bluetac and inserting the old mic to get the shape, then removed that, inserted the new one and filled the gaps in with hot glue and a permanent black marker pen to colour it. Bit of a botch job but it worked perfectly and the mic is now very secure. Audio sound (according to my mates on line) is very clear and there's no audible hum anymore so They are, and I am very 😁👌🏻🎤🎮🎧
