Let me start off by saying the best $49 I have ever spent
Listen closely, I am not an expert but I have extensive know how in a lot of areas and I think that I can speak with founded facts about this Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS). Let me start off by saying the best $49 I have ever spent. Given some time and patients, you can install one of these to your printer. I think the reason some people get frustrated is because they do not purge the system in this way here.....by running a high res photo with lots of color in the picture through the printer. I'll explain, I was having problems similar to a lot of other customers until I was tired of printing and getting patchy or faded colors. I just said to myself, " I have the system installed, I have bled and filled the containers correctly so why isn't it not printing right?", then it hit me, the print head has old ink and air in it now and it needs to be worked out! The way I worked it out was a HI RES pic of me at my Aunts house that had almost every color you could name in it. I then placed some PLAIN print paper in the printer and placed the settings on best and maximum DPI and made 10 copies of that one pic. About around the 6th and 7th pic I started to notice that the flaws were vanishing. I completed this process again just to confirm the printer was consistent by using the other side of the previously printed pages and voile! Just note that you should exercise it at least once a week by printing a color sheet to keep the ink heads fresh. The reason I waited so long to write my review was to give the system time and to observe it. Well 7 months later and barely used a fraction of the ink but have printed way more than 5,000 photos on my HP C310 printer. To be honest I cannot tell a difference between the Genuine ink and the Ink I received with the CISS!! Take my word for this it's a damn good deal once it is set up properly! Just one more note, they are not kidding about keeping the ink reservoir lower than the print head. If this is not accomplished the ink will flood your printer head. To avoid this just set it on the "Same Surface As Your Printer Sits" right beside it or where ever on the "Same Surface As Your Printer Sits" you choose.

Before purchasing a unit like this,
Before purchasing a unit like this, watch plenty of Youtube videos on how to set up a CISS and how to prime a CISS. Once you receive the unit, make sure you have plenty of paper towels, latex gloves (or something to keep ink from your hand), and plenty of work space (like a cleared-off desk). The instructions were not very detailed, which is why you must use the Youtube videos available to understand how to do things. I would rather use a video, because I don't think even the best written instructions could adequately describe the process. There were a few problems with the unit I received. The biggest was that the ink was leaking when the package arrived. It was not severe, but it did get ink on the instructions, which made reading the instructions difficult. The instructions for setting up the CISS were a bit vague (maybe Google translate?). However after some time on Youtube, I was able to figure out how to prime the ink system. I learned as much about my printer and ink leaks as much as I did about a CISS. Once the unit was properly primed and functioning, I had no problems. It is amazing how simple the process can be once you understand how to do it. It's finicky and tedious to maintain, but will definitely save a bunch of money in the long run!

work great for my HP 310a All-in-one printer
work great for my HP 310a all-in-one printer. I knew that there mybe some modifications. I had to cut away section so that the lines would not jam when It travel to the end. Was no big deal.I watched a lot of videos before purchases this so that I knew what I was getting into. It was not messy at all that's probably because I watch the videos before buying. It seems that the cartridges really did not want to fit I had a little hard time trying to get the clips to hold. I recommend that you bend out the plastic clips a bit before preparing to install that seemed to help a little that is why I give this product 4 stars they need to stiffen up that

So far so good.
Works as advertised. It was a bit messy installing it but that was expected. The installation was simple enough with the only snag being the placement of the ribbon so it would be out of the way and not jam with the printer head. After about 10 minutes it was ready to go. I've had it working for a few weeks now and there have been no jams and no leaks. I'll keep us updated.

Great Product!
This is a great deal. It is working excellently. I was worried the ink might not be as good as OEM but my printed pictures look just as good as with the old, expensive OEM ink. I'm sorry I didn't buy and install this type of product sooner. The instructions are just a bit hard to follow but if you read them carefully you will get the unit installed. You will also need to take time adjusting the placement and length of the ink feed tube. It took a bit of patience but it works flawlessly now.

Freaking amazing, why can't they make this what printers come ...
Just got it, read the instructions (perfectly suited to being on Engrish.com) and got it up and working. It came with a bunch of syringes, but according to the instructions i don't need to worry about air bubbles in the lines, and true they have fed themselves out. Freaking amazing, why can't they make this what printers come like in the first place?! I'd really like one 18" wide with paper roll feed and continuous ink, i'd be making my own wallpaper! Seriously, it works awesome so far for $40! I am going to trim some plastic out of the way as the feed lines do need to be less restricted, and i need to space the lid up a bit but hey, now i can afford mass printing to decorate the place

Nope
I got it installed fine but that's where the good stuff ended. The ink would not stop leaking out. Almost flooded my printer with ink.

May have been a defective unit. The chips were not recognized by my printer. My printer was an HP photosmart c309a and was listed for compatibility by the vendor. With this ink system installed the printer message was " no cartridge installed". The printer had been working with original cartridges and a different ciss brand system.
