Hell Bunny 25" Petticoat

Hello! Frequent petticoat wearer here, and owner of more variations of the lovely undergarment than I care to admit :)The positives first:This is a lovely petticoat, a true crisp white color and very soft. The upper lining is nice, smooth to prevent the waist from catching on any thinner fabrics and showing through, but not skin tight and flaring like some petticoats seem to do (think, mermaid-esqe effect) And the true selling point of this petticoat is the adjustable waist. It's such a simple addition, I don't know why more brands don't include it. If your weight fluctuates, you're just having a bloaty day, or you are layering multiple petticoats, that room to adjust the waistband is a godsend.Now onto the negatives:Really, the only downside of this petticoat for me was the length. I have pettis that range from 23" to 28" depending on the dress I wear, but the few I have in the 25" length I wear the most simply because of the length of a normal 50s style dress and where my natural waist hits, that's what works for me. Seeing as the other pettis I have seem consistent, I'd put this one at leaning on the longer side. I tried it on with multiple dresses, and it wasn't significantly longer, but it was peeking at least a half-inch to an inch out the bottom of my dresses which is not the style I go for. I like a flash of petticoat in a turn, but not completely visible at all times.Also, I saw someone say you didn't even need to wear a liner with this, and I have to recommend the opposite. While is is much softer than many petticoats, it's not flannel. Over time, it may start to chafe a bit and get scratchy (depending on how delicate your skin is), and for cleanliness alone (and knowing what a pain it is to launder and refluff petticoats) a slip skirt or full skirt is always recommendable (especially with a light color or white that will have the tendency to yellow or antique over time)Overall, one of the best petticoats I've bought, but make sure you know to exact length you want!

the color is perfect! i ordered a large since i was unsure if i would be able to get a medium over my very curvy hips but the elastic waist stretches so much that i would guess a medium would have worked well too. the waist not stretched is probably about 20 inches; i have a 28 inch waist so it was not too tight; it was comfortable. and then it could stretch out so much more as well. i wore it under a 1950s dress that I had made myself for an event at Disneyland called dapper day, it was 103 degrees that day; here in california and i did have to stop frequently to get a drink to stay cool because the fabric of this petticoat is very warm, so just beware if you are planning to wear this in warm temperatures it will get hot. otherwise it is very comfortable and the fabric is not scratchy at all; i wore it with out a slip or nylons.

This is my second Hell Bunny petticoat (the other being the green one) and I just love the colour of this.The petticoat is soft on the skin, no need for a slip underneath, and is very flouncy, which makes all my swing dresses look perfect.I can't recommend this highly enough!

Beautiful product, very reasonably priced. This is a must, perfect, non itchy petticoat for full effect of 50s style dresses.

The petticoat is exactly what we expected and very full and fluffy. It fits perfectly under the dress making it a true 1950's shape. It is well made and the adjustable waist means we can take it up without any trouble.

This is SOOO worth the money!! Do not go further! IT takes a while to get to you but trust me once you put this on under your vintage dress you will see what i mean!!

Really pleased with this lovely petticoat.

I was concerned this might be too large but the waistband was easily adjustable to get a perfect fit. I wore this under my tea length wedding dress and it was comfortable but gave lovely volume to the dress.

I bought 4 of these for under my bridesmaids 50's swing dresses from VOH, what a difference they made would recommend to anyone looking for a decent petticoat.

You will love this. It fits perfectly, and looks very vintagey. It's very well made too, and easy to wear.
