I found the book well organized and very easy to use. Passed my certification without any trouble, though you do need to do the pretest and study ahead of time - the class assumes you have. The book comes with pocket card algorithms which are helpful for quick reviewing/studying. Make sure you get the newest edition (2010) as there have been changes to the algorithms.

The book was in excellent condition and I received it by mail very fast. The downfall of the book was that it was expensive especially for a nursing student and we didn't even need the book for the certification class even though they told us to order one. They gave us handouts and most people didn't have a book. Therefore, I felt it was a waste of money. However, the book is a great reference to keep up to date on ACLS and I'm sure I will need it again when I have to get recertified. I will keep the book since I plan on working in ER and hopefully becoming a flight nurse in three years!!!!

I am a physician, needed text book for ACLS algorithms and this is exactly the book. I ordered another publication book snd compared , this one is the best I would recommend to others looking for material on this subject.

Has all info you need to know about acls. Also came with the pocket card which is $26 if you buy it alone. Very happy with the purchase.

I ordered and received a 2006 ACLS(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)manual which I didnot realize that it was out dated. It's a terrible thing to put up an out of date medical knowledge item for some one to learn. This could be possible medical liability consequences.Out of date cloths you can still wear,but matter to save lives should not be out of date. The item was almost free beside postage but that is not the point.

This book is really nice. Pages are glossy and easy to read. Explainations are great. If you study this book you will pass your ACLS test. MUST BUY! This product came with a CD that was really helpful. Note those who are taking the test concentrate on the algorithms in the book. It is extremely helpful!

2007年3月現在まだ日本語訳が出版されていませんので、今のところ2005年バージョンのACLSプロバイダーコースを受ける方はこのテキストで学ぶように指示されています。ガイドラインとECCハンドブックは日本語が出版されているので英語の苦手な方はこれらで事前学習をするとよいと思います。ただ、このテキストのCD-ROMに含まれる60問のプレテストに関しては、当日日本語解説があるといっても事前にやって理解しておいた方が、実のあるコース受講ができると思いました。一応、受講前に仕上げていくこともコース受講の条件になっていますし…。また、CD-ROMのサプリメントも結構有用で、例えばテキスト内にはあまり絵がないのですが、サプリメントが多少補っています。ちなみに、当日の筆記試験はプレテストより簡単だったように感じました。

Alogrithms for all arrythmias clearly written and easy to remember. The format of the book is nicely laid out in a logical sequence.

Outdated guidelines not current info waste of money for me I am very dissatisfied with this book it went in garbage

The reason why I selected 2 stars is that there new protocols coming for acls on November and this book is not gonna be helpful or officially used any more.. However the seller had really taken care very of the book very well that's why I gave 2 stars ...
