This is an awesome book, so well worth reading and thinking deeply about. I’m delighted and grateful to have found it.

Different perspectives helpful.

This is one of the best compilations I've read regarding "Awakening". Rabbi Rami is able to draw from many sources, Jewish, Hindu, Christianity, Taoism, etc. to show that we are all connected spiritually and materially. This is a must read for anyone interested in oneness and the plane of unity regardless of one's religious preference.

The concept of interpreting all of the great spiritual teachers through the lens of Perennial Wisdom was very helpful to me. I found Rabbi Shapiro's re-interpretation of the various forms of scripture into the perspective of the greater Self to be enlightening. He also has great humor.I would recommend this book to anyone open to a developing spiritual path.

Just a bit too much emphasis on Bible wisdom. I'd prefer more poetry, actually.

Unlike many theological writers, he doesn't try to redeem the church or the synagogue, he just accepts the fact that many folks are now 'spiritually independent', not officially affiliated with a church.His wisdom comes from Olympus, Yahweh, Allah, Krishna, Ahuru Mazda, the Source, the Creator. He knows how to interpret the sacred and divine it from the secular.

Loved the format. Clear and easy to understand. Every spiritual seeker should read this!

I thought this book was really good in giving biblical references, and is more of a technical book. I found myself studying and re-reading this book many times. I would recommend it.

Spiritually have been going through a lot of things, but one thing that always stuck with me is the universal truths found within all traditions. This book taps into that and more. Definitely glad I read it.

This book has really opened my mind to (common) perennial wisdom. It has been a challenge, but is a source of great spiritual direction.
