Need a great Roach Killer?
Need a great Roach Killer? Well this stuff is great. This can comes in a powder form. It says mix it with water. But do not do it. I know it's for trees. But if you know anyone or if you have a problem with roaches? Just put it dry behind your stove, refrigerator inside the walls if you can take the paneling off. Anywhere where pets or children can not get into it. For the following several weeks you will find yourself sweeping up piles of those dead nasty critters. Never remove the powder. Fully ventilate and wear a mask as to not breathe it in. DO NOT SNIFF THE TOP. ITS STRONG!! Use a spoon that you will leave in the can incase you want to go put it in other homes. I moved into this cute little house. But the roaches was so bad they were coming out of the crevices of the wall looking for supper. I saw this stuff and the smell was so strong, I said I bet this will kill a few of those nasty roaches. Well I put it out and went to spend a couple days with my grandmother. Then when I got back I took the broom from outside and started at the door mind you. They were dead all over the place.for days on end I was sweeping them up. One day i saw no more dead. But then I realized I DIDNT HAVE ANYMORE RIACHES AT ALL. That was years ago. I left that poison where I put it. That place for many years remained roach free. A neighbor asked how I killed them. I had him go catch one at his house with an egg and bring it. I put some of the powder on a counter I never used. I told him dump that roach on the powder. He was reluctant because I was roach free. But he did it. That roach bounced 3 times, released its eggs and straight up died that fast.. I told him to leave it and we would check it as the time goes by. Sure enough in a couple days. Those baby roaches ate through the egg and died instantly. So there was no way that the roaches can become immune to it. And therefore it remains roach free. Give it a try 8f you have this problem.

Not for Indoors!
I was horrified to read a customer review that involved treating the inside of their house with this stuff. This is a powerful pesticide designed for agricultural use. The instruction sheet states: "Do not allow spray to drift from the application site and contact people, structures people occupy at any time and the associated property, parks and recreation areas, nontarget crops, aquatic and wetland areas, woodlands, pastures, rangelands or animals." Please do NOT "mix it with a bottle of free breeze" and spray it on the walls of your home. That is not okay for you, your pets, or your children. Buy a product that is meant for that. All that said, this product was recommended to my by my County Extension for control of thrips on my sweet viburnum hedges and it worked very well. As others have noted, it does stink. I have it stored inside two ziplock bags and a sealed plastic storage tote, and still my carport smells like something died. I trained and worked cadaver detection dogs for over 10 years, and I can tolerate some rough smells, but this stuff is just something I can't get used to! My next storage effort will be a sealed ammo box.

Not pet safe
Kills everything that you don't want around is more accurate than kills bugs lol. This stuff is magic in a can. 🤌Bravo. But be very careful with it or you'll float too

This stuff really stinks but….
It killed the Agave Snout Nose Weevils that were killing my agaves. Unfortunately I put it on too late and some of my agaves and yuccas were too damaged before I noticed.

Orthrene Worked.
Got rid of the snub nose weevil. But it was too late for my Agave plant. The chemical had a very strong smell.

Will definitely buy again - used for orchids and perennials
Florida gardener zone 10A here - I had an infestation of either Aphids or thrips (the one that look like a cheese white powder on the underside of leaves and all the joints), on my cattleyas as well as gold mound, birds of paradise and other perennials around my property. After a few heavy treatments most all plants servived and are now on their way to getting healthy. I did lose a few catt bag babies but not due to the product. They were pretty far gone by the time I began treatment. It did save the life of my coveted White Mussaenda which was struggling but now thriving and healthy with a few treatments. Good luck and happy gardening!
