This DID NOT WORK FOR ME
I love using Command for hanging pictures in my home, but sadly, the caddy did not work at all. I don't know if the humidity was the problem, but followed directions. I also didn't have very much weight on it at all - maybe a pound at most. The caddy came crashing down during the middle of night. I will not try to use it again. I don't think these work in bathrooms at all.

Sticks perfectly to fiberglass! Much easier to reach everything in the shower now!
I’ve been using another Command shower product for a while now (the plastic Command Shower Caddy basket) to hold some extra shampoo and conditioner bottles and it has held in place perfectly for 4 years now. So when I needed to move my metal wire shower organizer to a different location, I knew I could trust the Command bath and shower adhesive to hold everything in place, vs. struggling with suction cups. I’ve recently started using a transfer bench seat in the shower and needed to move my everyday shampoos and soaps lower down, and on the opposite side of my handheld shower sprayer. This works well and holds everything perfectly! My wire shower organizer is packed with full size bottles, and nothing has budged on this hook. Just follow the instructions: I first cleaned the intended application area of my fiberglass shower wall with a Magic eraser sponge, dried it with a paper towel, then cleaned the dry surface with the included rubbing alcohol pad. This will prime the area and remove any soap residue. And remember to wait 24 hours after adhering the hook before putting any weight on it. The instructions also recommend running the shower for a few minutes during the 24 hr waiting period, since steam seems to help further activate this type of adhesive.

but is staying up fine - hanging an Interdesign Raphael shower caddy on it
Its only been a month, but is staying up fine - hanging an Interdesign Raphael shower caddy on it, my bottles are not large and not very full right now so not too heavy - we'll see in the future. A "wet wipe" of rubbing alcohol for cleaning the surface before attaching the hanger was included IN the item packaging. The instructions on the back of the package are a bit ambiguous between steps 8 and 9, went online to the 3M site to be sure I had it right: if installing inside the shower stall where it will get wet, BEFORE reattaching hook to bases per step 8, run shower and WAIT for 24 hours per step 9 then reattach hook to bases. The horizontal peg design of this hanger is the right choice for the Interdesign shower caddy which has a rubber strip about an inch deep around the top hanger section to prevent slippage - I considered the Command Large Bathroom Hook but now don't think it would have worked well because of its more V or J shaped design. Also, the "frosted" color of the Caddy Hanger works well with the satin nickel caddy and my off-white shower stall. Happy with this.

Perfect for hanging a shower caddy
This Command Caddy Hanger is the perfect alternative to trying to hang a shower caddy on your shower head. I've tried so many shower baskets that secure to the wall with suction cups because I don't want to hang a caddy from the shower head. The head is too high, and I've read so many reviews of caddies that don't stay in place and fall off the shower head. This hanger is the best solution! I could put it on the wall at the height that I wanted and hang the caddy from it. It's very sturdy, and I don't have to worry about it falling off like the suction cup shower baskets. I love it!

Will buy another if I ever need to.
This is great. Command hooks are the best and this is a good way to have your shower caddy and not have it hanging on the shower head or interfering with the hose to the handheld shower. The only problem I have with it is that its circumference is lees than that of the pipe to the shower head. New caddies often have a rubber piece that keeps the caddy in place and can keep it hanging level to some extent. The rubber piece does not help as much with this hook because the hook is not thick enough.

I was leery, but it's been great!
Reviews made me skeptical. We have a typical shower insert that is smooth surface. I use this to hold up a shower caddy with several bottles, soap, and loofahs. I strictly followed the directions with the exception that we happened to be leaving on a trip for a few days immediately after installation--so I waited way more than the recommended 24 or so hours before hanging anything on it. I feel the longer you can wait, the stronger the adhesive may be. Before buying this, I had a regular command hook that I'd stuck to the shower wall before and it held for 4 years! So, I have faith that this hook will hold just as long. It's not very pretty but that's fine. It does have 2 adhesive strips so I'm confident in it's strength, but I still try to respect it by keeping giant shampoo bottles and things on our regular shelf instead. Common sense stuff, basically.

Great idea but does not hold...potentially dangerous!
I really wanted this to work. My shower caddy doesn’t sit properly on my shower head, the pipe is too sloped. I saw this product and thought it would be the answer to my problem. I followed all the instructions to the letter and then after 24 hours I put the caddy on the hook. It did hold the caddy and one shampoo bottle for a day. But then when I dared to load it with all the bathroom items that should fit on the caddy, it didn’t last 4 minutes before crashing down to the tub below. Two pumice stone smashed to bits, I’m very grateful my small children were not in the bath at the time. This could have been dangerous!! Once I picked everything out of the tub, I brought out my scale and weighed everything. It came to 6.6 pounds. The hook is rated for 7.5 pounds so it should have held. If you dare to buy this, don’t load more than half your caddy and don’t dare use this is you put small children in the bath. It really could have hurt someone!

I love it - Strong an durable
This thing is amazing. It was a breeze to install. I followed directions and left it on for 24 hours before hanging anything on it. It holds a large number of products including two large bottles of shampoo and conditioner as well as other hair masks and soaps.Hang it on the opposite end of the showerhead and it works great. It doesn't get as dirty because it's not directly under the shower head. Also, we have a handheld showerhead that comes apart and the hose doesn't get tangled in it.I love this thing.

The original strips did not hold at all, so I had to change them for other Command strips the same size, that hold up to 2,2 kg. The hook still holds strong in place up to this day. I use it for a shower caddy, which has 4 suction cups that I suspect may help taking some pressure off the hook. I also have never dared challenge the maximum weight, but the total weight has always been well over 1 kg. I recommend the hook, as it is very practical, but I would keep an eye on it for the first few days, or even weeks, to make sure it holds well.

I am honestly surprised. I was hesitant to buy this at first. Been using this for months now in my bathroom, stuck on the tiles right above the tub/shower combo so it gets a lot of moisture supporting about 4 lbs. of weight. I have used a lot of different kinds and brands of no-drill hooks, tapes, etc. but they never even last a month. The moisture in my bathroom is too much with 4 people taking a shower everyday and 2 of them love to take long steamy baths. 😑 This is totally amazing! Glad I bought it

Not man enough for heavy objects. They look like a lump of plastic & are not a thing of beauty but stick easily & providing you don’t put anything too heavy on them they do the job. They did not keep my shower caddy in place but have found other uses for them.

So far, it's holding up! I accidentally installed the tape on a slight angle, but that didn't make a difference with holding up the caddy. I've ordered a second one to hold the bath toy basket... looking forward to having a slightly more organized bathtub area!

You put it on the wall and wait 24 hours as it tells you, and then you hang the soap shelf, and after like 2 hours, it falls off. It's a ripoff, and it cost me $10 + tax.
