Perfect replacement lids

Love these durable cover for my pyrex and non pyrex glass containers. I have one USA made glass container I got from TJ Max that the lid split very soon after purchase. Another pyrex with lip has a microwavable lid that shed bits into the food. These lids help to give the containers cover. I am glad the lids can fit.

I bought these to replace a lid on a container that had failed. These fit my dishes perfectly and seal as tight as they were the original. They are also so easy to wash as they just fit in the top rack of the dishwasher. The plastic is also durable and with any luck will last longer than the original.

Pro: If you have a #7203 7 cup 1.75 qt. Pyrex Food Storage Bowl with the red lid, #7402-PC stamped on it this is the replacement lid for it. They come in different colors, but all of them should fit this specific Pyrex bowl. They are made in the USA, and the bowl itself is microwave safe, refrigerator and freezer safe. They are not rated for stove or oven usage, but are easy to clean and look nice when you want to bring and serve potato salad, green salads, hot dishes like green bean casseroles, chili, etc. that also have a lid to travel with or keep the bugs off when eating outside for a picnic. I wouldn't cook in them, but they are nice to serve whatever you have made to share for 7 to 10 people. If necessary, hot dishes or cold dishes can safely be reheated or chilled again assuming there is room in the microwave or refrigerator. The lids are plastic, a snug fit, but not leak proof or airtight. They are BPA free. That's the positive. Con: I know the description claims the lids are microwave safe, but NO. I've never found anything plastic or rubber that can survive microwave reheating without warping or melting. I suggest using a microwave plate to cover your bowl that you need to reheat, or a heavy paper plate (not foam!) to prevent splatters. Even a thick paper towel can be used, but keep an eye on it because although it's never happened to me, other reviews have reported that paper can catch fire in a microwave. I've rated this 4 stars because I haven't had time to see how durable they are yet, which to me, means how long can I use these before they crack and become unusable. They both were new but each arrived slightly warped. They still fit snugly once they are on my bowl so I'm keeping them. If they last a minimum of one year, I will upgrade them to 5 stars. If they don't, I'll downgrade them to 3 stars. Overall, I'm delighted to have the backup lids even though the description of their being microwave safe should be changed in my opinion. Recommended.

Fits perfectly on my Pyrex!

Color is true to photo and matches the original lids perfectly. Have no idea where the original lids disappeared to; kinda like disappearing socks in the wash. Anyhoo, love these lids.

Nice replacement lids for my Pyrex items. They also work on some anchor hocking ones as well.
