Better Surf...than Sorry Big Board Schlepper Stand Up Paddleboard Easy Carry Strap SUP Shoulder Sling Board Carrier with Free Fanny Belt Pack Storage

I will start by saying that I had a few reservations after reading reviews about the straps not being short enough, but I am 5'2" and about 133# and I can cinch it right on up so the board is easy to carry and under control. I always wear it across my body though. I had it at a SUP get together last week and everyone kept saying that they liked mine better than the one they had :-) I have a 10'6 32", and this strap has really helped me manage my board. The shoulder strap is so nicely padded that i can even let go of the board if I need to.There are 3 straps,one for shoulder, one to go round the narrower end of the board, and one to go round the larger end of the board. Each of the board straps can be adjusted to fit your board and has a strong clip that is easy to fasten/unfasten. Each of the board straps also has two little velcro loops for carrying paddles or what not. I put my paddle through the top loops on each strap so the paddle rests across my board. The loops hold so well that I can also use the paddle as another handle to hold onto (which is really nice sometimes because my arms are kind of short and the handle built into the board is a bit of a stretch).When I am done for the day I slide the board straps on while it's still in the water, loop in my paddle and then clip in the shoulder strap...duck my head through the strap and go! At the car, I pull my pad out of the trunk, then bend down to rest the board on the pad and unclip the shoulder strap and remove the paddle. Put the shoulder strap and paddle in the car and use the 2 board straps to maneuver the board into an upright position, unclip the board straps and push the board up on the car rack .....so much easier than before and less scratch damage to my rail because I have better control over my board....love it!

Works Great. It makes carrying the board to and from the water much easier. Quality is good, and I would buy again. We put on the straps around the board before leaving our house and then clip the shoulder strap on when taking off the car. It comes with a little wet pack that can clip to your board (if your board has a little bar on it) to store the strap while boarding. When exiting the water - we take a few minutes to center up the straps on the board to equalize the weight of the board.

It did the job until one of the plastic clips broke the second day as I was hauling my board back up the thick grassy incline and dropping my brand new board in the rocks leaving a big chip in the fiberglass. I knew better not to trust hose plastic clips too.

easy to carry paddle and board at same time (has Velcro paddle attachment). The strap is super too long, but can be cinched if you are 5'7 it will work. Shorter and you might be dragging on the ground. Way better than trying to carry board by the handle though.

Works really well! I have a bit of a walk to the river from my house. With a strap I had to stop several times and keep switching arms in order to make it there. I was hesitant to purchase paper review things did not work well for somebody who was 5'4". I am 5'7". First use was okay, and I did not have to set the board down, but I thought the other reviewer was right, it was better for tall people. Second use, I found I could adjust the straps shorter than the first time. It was perfect, it was great! Attached my paddle and lease into the Velcro spots and transport was a breeze! I choose to wear it crossbody.

By the time I get it rigged up I can already be in the water then either leave it on the beach or carry it with me. Its in the never use again pile.

I have a 10'10" SUP, which weighs about 30 pounds. The Big Board Schlepper carrying strap makes it much easier for me to carry the board, and prevents wrist strain during a long walk with the board. It is easier to balance the board if I spread the straps out to the far ends of the board, and wear the shoulder strap on the opposite shoulder. The "fanny pack" carrying case is handy for stowing the straps once I reach the beach. They thought of everything, even a way to carry the paddle.Thanks to the Big Board Schlepper, I no longer dread carrying my SUP, and am, therefore, using the SUP more often.

I have used this carrier/sling all last summer in San Diego. An excellent product and well made. The fanny pack is perfect. During the off season, the sling works well to stabalize my board and paddle in the garage. I never counted on that. This makes a 100% difference in carrying my board and paddle across a busy street, waiting for traffic etc. I am very happy I bought this and would do it over again!
