Sky Kisses Earth

I really enjoy the "world music" sound of Prem Joshua and this album I can play over and over. I've used it for practicing yoga as well as nice mellow background music.

Prem Joshua is a multi-talented musician. He plays sitar, bansuri flute, santoor, percussion, and saxaphone to name a few. His compositions are beautiful and moving fusing traditional Indian/Islamic music and instruments with a modern tempo, basslines and synthesisers. No overdone electronics, just a beautiful, rich, multi-dimensional, organic sound. In my opinion the four Prem Joshua must-haves are " Sky Kisses Earth", "Yatri", "Taranga", and "Water Down the Ganges". If you like Indian Fusion music with an emphasis on high quality beautiful sound played with real instruments, you'll love these.

One of the better ones I think although most all their stuff is inspiring. Met Prem and the band some years ago. Prem sat with us and chatted a bit before the concert; an all round joyful fellow.

I listen to it, every time I travel somewhere, especially when I feel adventurous. It is upliting, light but yet deep, mysterious, hinting to a wider universe of spirituality. Probably, to me, one of the finest works of Prem Joshua.

I'd only heard two Prem Joshua songs prior to ordering this album, but those two I listened to over and over. I've sometimes been dismayed to like one song by an artist, only to buy the album and be disappointed. That was not the case with this album. I enjoy every track. I've listened to it probably ten times in the three days since I bought it, and each time I enjoy it more and more.

Wonderfully relaxing

Wunderbare Musik für Fans indischer und orientalischer Klänge, mit gleichzeitigem Hörgenuss für meditative Stimmungen.Wieder einmal eine sehr gelungene CD, wie auch die anderen CD's von Prem Joshua. Ich kann Konzerte mit ihm und seiner Band und Tänzerin sehr empfehlen.

In die ersten dreizehn Minuten könnte ich mich reinlegen, die warme Musik hüllt mich ein, umschmeichelt mich, jetzt wird auch noch die Verwandschaft mit einem Exemplar beglückt.

Excellent CD. Musique divine comme toujours avec Prem Joshua c'est un voyage à chaque fois au pays du merveilleux. Je recommande très vivement ce CD.
