Just didn't work. I got them with the idea of clearing a slow drain, and apparently there was not enough water in there to activate the stick. Perhaps if I had a complete clog they would work. From what I have seen, they would not work as a maintenance item, as they advertise it based on the fact that they come in packs of 12, one per month.

I thought I ordered a foaming disposal cleaner, not these. I think a waste as they are supposed to last a month. One use of disposal and they are gobbled up. No directions for use. These seem useless to me.

After I put these in the drains (didn’t put in all) seems my drains were sluggish and didn’t let the water flow freely as before I put them in. I don’t know why but I wouldn’t recommend these as I stated above my drains worked perfectly before!

I thought these were the foamimg sticks you add to your drains to clean them. They are just sticks you put down the drain for fresh scent.

I had some drains with odors, waiting to see if this helps. As many have noted, they are broken in the package but this may be a good indicator that they are soft enough so that they will decompose as desired. You just have to drop the pieces down the drain.I am updating this review to say I am reordering these. I had smelly drains and couldn't figure out why as they were't clogged. after I used these a while they did smell ok. I then kinda forgot about the sticks for a while and slowly the smells (sorta musty smell) came back , remembered the sticks and went back to them and sure enough the smell stopped after a week or two. I will remember to use monthly from now on.

These sticks seem to work well so far. I used in my bathroom sink and my kitchen sink. We seem to have a problem with our kitchen getting stopped up. I knew that the drain has to be clear to start with to have these work properly but still want to try something to help with odor. These sticks did help I put 1 in each drain of my double sink. They dont have an overpowering chemical smell. In my bathroom it has also helped with giving off a nice scent. I haven't experienced yet if it does help keep sinks free flowing. The packaging is kind hard to open without breaking sticks but I just threw all mine in a ziploc.

I can't tell you how many times while living in this little condo that hubby and I have paid $75 to a plumber to unclog our kitchen sink. The construction on condos is to cut corners especially when it comes to plumbing; thus, our upstairs neighbor and we share the same kitchen drains! "We" know better than to put grease and excess food down the sink. So guess who's on the bottom getting all of the overflow? You're right — US! THEN THE DISCOVERY OF DRAIN STICKS! It's a game changer. These little sticks work like a charm. Just this morning, we wake up and our double sinks are filled to the brim. We drop two sticks — like magic — the water whirlpools down, down, down. No more $75 plumber charges (that no one offers to share). No more hating the upstairs neighbors. We do find that consistency keeps the drain clear. We use the sticks every other day during the summer. Hoping our testimony is useful.

For years used above mentioned products whenever bathroom or shower drains started to back up or drain slowly. They did work but short term & 1/2 the time I would forget to run the water after the 15/20 minute suggested time. When I first saw the Drain Sticks advertised I thought “what the heck”, they’re cheap so give it a try. To my surprise, since starting to use them about 8 months ago in all 3 drains there has been no clogging or slowing! Couldn’t be easier to use - drop 1 stick in each drain once a month (break in half if hard to get down in one piece) - no rinsing necessary - they’re inexpensive - don’t take up any storage space - & best of all, they actually work! Win-win-win! Super satisfied!
