Great pull-up bar for non-standard door frames
I was happy to find out this type of pull-up bar exists, as I moved into an apartment in a very old building and my old doorway pull-up bar (the type that sits on top of the frame) no longer worked. The bar works fine, but installing it is very tedious and is a good arm workout in itself, as you have to hold the bar above you for five minutes or so as you spin the handles and try to get everything aligned just right. Then you have to tighten the screws on the locks with an allen wrench, and you're good to go.It can be hard to know how much to tighten the bar, so I recommend just starting with the minimum possible tension and increasing from there to avoid damaging the door frame. As others pointed out, the silicone (I think) parts on the end do stick onto the frame when I remove the bar, and that doesn't bother me but just keep in mind it could potentially take some paint off with it when you remove them. For me, I really don't care if it does.Even though the process to get the bar mounted is tedious, I don't know that there is any really better way to design it with this type of bar. With the locks, it really seems like they could make that easier by using wingnuts or something instead of requiring you to keep the allen wrench handy to painstakingly loosen/tighten those every time. The instructions were also pretty lacking even though it's not too hard to figure out.Overall, I recommend this product if you're like me and this type is your only option. If you have a traditional type of door frame, I would recommend the other more common type of over-frame pull-up bar as those will be better in every possible way. Another downside of this type of bar is I no longer have the neutral grip option like with the other type, but I still give this credit for being a game-changing product for non-standard door frames.

Even I could install this, and it works great
I don't write many reviews because I rather dislike the 1-5 numerical rating system. I'd rather have something like 1-100, where you could deviate a bit from perfection, but still give a great review. That said....I am absolutely terrible at putting things together. While i have a very old, over the door frame bar, the grips are falling apart, and I figured that some of the 'easy to put together' options would actually be easy for ME to put together. Not so, however. I returned 2 of those because I simply failed at assembling them from the hieroglyphic instructions provided. I then ordered one of the "no screws" over the door frame options, but it didn't even come close to fitting my door. I had originally been uninterested in ordering the style that uflyy offers, because it doesn't have any alternate grip options, for instance neutral grips, etc. However, i have gotten into hanging various difficult tools to my pull up bar, and i realized that having the alternate grips on the bar itself was totally unnecessary. So, i gave the Uflyy a try.Miraculously I was able to install it in my doorway. I didn't quite understand the instructions at first, but then it clicked. I mentioned in an email to them that the instructions could be a bit better, but I did find them MUCH easier to go by than the other bars I've tried, so that should be taken with a grain of salt, I suppose. It's actually pretty easy, and makes p;erfect sense to me now. So much so, in fact that I ordered 2 more (will now have a pull up bar in every doorway, with different tools hanging from each. makes for a really fun workout). The bar itself seems really solid - i can't imagine it slipping from the doorway. Obviously (just like with any pull-up bar) it may not fit as well in your doorway, etc, or you may need other features, but I am totally pleased. And they are extremely comfortable also, but the (cloth?) grips can be removed easily, if needed. The communication is great. Really friendly people.

Works well, as advertised, warning about your door jams though -
This works just as advertised which is nice. No problems with installing, sturdy, etc. The warning is about your door jams. The wood of your doorway that this is pushing out against to hold you up is often rather soft. Ours is Douglas fir, which isn't as soft as pine, but it's not oak. Anyway the bar wants to push it out and there's often give there - there are shims you can't see in your door frame between the rough opening and the inner frame (thin) that you can see. If there isn't a shim right where the bar is it will deform the inner Frame outward. In our case it also put slight indentations in the softer wood. That with the heaviest weight on it 150 lbs. With a metal frame it would be fine. Just be aware for any other kind of frame. It's arguably better than something that screws into that door frame and permanently puts holes in it - but you could put some colored putty into the screw holes later and they might disappear. The indentation caused by this is larger and although les obvious, also more difficult to fully repair later.

Quality product, easy to install
This is the first chin-up bar I've ever owned. With COVID-19, much like many other people I now have to workout at home. This bar arrived well packaged and was easy and intuitive to install! I've done a bunch of chin-ups on it already and it's very sturdy - I have had no issues at all! I'm excited to get better at chin-ups :)Recommended!

Product is sturdy just not for regular door frames
Product is sturdy and has a smart design BUT this is not good for a regular doorway. It started cracking and pushing apart my doorframe toy bedroom. That crack is actually a lot wider than what the picture shows because I took the bar out. But when I was doing pull-ups it would get worse and worse everyday. I only way 155. Not like I'm 200 or something.

Ok product but not portable as it may seems
Plastic at edges *is* really cheap dont be fooledI tought it would be easily portable or to change height but don't get fooled! It's as annoying to install as any other bar though it's true that you wont need screw, but screws at least assure you the bar is well aligned if you measured well; with this one, its alot of trial-and-errorotherwise ok bar

It will separate the frame
First of all it was very difficult to figure out how to tighten it and keep it in the safe range. Once it was installed, as soon as I started to hang on it it began to slip below the safe range and if I screwed it tighter it separated the door frame. I tried every door frame I had it did it to all of them. I do not recommend this product I can’t even use it.

OK for children
It seems to work well for my son who is ~70 pounds. It really strains under my weight at 150 pounds. The device exerts a huge amount of pressure on your door frame. Because most doors usually have a 1/2" gap between the door frame and wall studs, the frame will bend or crack at the mounting points. Also, the rubber mounting pads are very sticky but they will damage your paint.
