I bought Caframo because, well, it's supposed to be good. The price would certainly lead one to believe this fan must be good. That would be a mistake. After less than five minutes of operation, the fan starting squealing badly at certain angles. The blade design is unrefined and does not move enough air relative to its power consumption (I'm seeing about 1 to 1.5 A). The blade assembly feels unbalanced; there is a marked vibration even on the lowest setting. The mount is garbage: stiff, doesn't turn easily or is too loose, with no washers or bushings in the pivot to allow it to turn smoothly. The front grill is wide open enough for fingers to easily slip into the blades while trying to adjust that silly mount. I have $20 4D battery operated fans that move as much air, run much more smoothly and quietly, and have more refined blade and housing designs.The wiring has no indication of polarity. While this is a minor quibble, it's still one of those points that would inform the purchaser that this company pays attention to details. I wish I had installed this sooner because it would have gone straight back.

The fan doesnt put out much air at all! The auction cup feature is great but especially for being an outsoor grade fan and for the price I was expecting more power, I have seen a mini deal fan put out more air. Sending back for a refund, not worth the money

The fan is silent even when engines are not running there is barely any noise yet strong airflow.

Moves a lot of air on med and high, high is a little noisy, but to be expected, well made and sturdy

i purchased 2 of these at the same time. one was good, the other did not function at all. finally i get approval? to return this item which does not function and i have to pay return shipping. what a f-ing joke. i will never purchase anything from this seller again.

This unit lasted less then 2 seasons and for the price I was hoping it would last a bit longer. I have moved on to a different product and it has lasted 3 seasons of non stop use. I would not purchase this again for the price.
