Bought for an 04 Subaru WRX, and the turbo went bad shortly after installing. Project car, waited too long to install to return.

Oil inlet banjo bolt threading on the turbo is M10x1.25 stock Subaru TD04L part has M10x1.50. Had to source non-stock banjo bolt. Fit of turbine housing to compressor housing was thrown together without much QC. Oil drain pipe alignment had to be adjusted by rotating housing. Wrong side water cooling inlet/outlet was blocked off at the factory. Had to swap sides. Wastegate has firmer spring than stock, more boost than expected being pushed. Included gaskets are poor quality. Overall workable but not fun. You get what you pay for. Hasn't blown up yet, so that's a plus. Machining is nice. Unknown bearing material. Rear downpipe nut hard to install without lifting whole assembly part way. Does not come with exhaust-end studs. Much cursing later and I got it running.Update: customer slammed accelerator to the floor during test drive. Car downshifted and boost caused turbine housing to separate from compressor section at the compressor c-clamp. Compressor section was thrown forward and shattered a throttle position sensor. Compressor turbine shaft broke, turbine wheel exploded into shrapnel which got sucked into intercooler though luckily not the engine. 0/10 would not buy again. Lesson learned: check all clamps for proper fitment on cheap Chinese turbos because they get thrown together very quickly and nothing is double checked. Quality of materials was also questionable.

Cheap alternative to factory rrplace.rnt. works fine for now. We will see about long term.

For the price i guess i cant complain

used turbo on stock application for my 07 Subaru wrx and i put 500 miles on it, then checked shaft play due to hearing it a little and sure enough the compressor wheel had enough shaft play to mark the housing.

Blew up shortly ( within 150 miles ) after professional installation and following all requirements

The reviews that say this turbo has issues believe it because it has problems.
