Dead battery for all of Covid but now it is new!!

Finding a replacement battery for my ACER laptop was a crap shoot because the unit for my model was not specifically identified anywhere.If you are not experienced in parts replacement in electronic equipment I suggest you hire a professional.If you are experienced I suggest you find a YouTube clip showing how it's done and make sure the access panels in the video match yours.In my case the bottom panel could not be completely removed as the power jack seemed a permanent connection so I had to open it like a clam, remove the existing battery, then install the new one making sure I had the connector properly aligned and inserted.Finally, the form factor was different from the original - it had length, but was narrower - yet it fit.The battery is fully charged and fully charged. Doing this saved my buying a new laptop. Good move.

The battery worked well for my Acer laptop and quickly charged up to 100%. I did have two issues. The screwdrivers included with the battery are too tiny. I could only remove half the screws. I took it into Office Depot where a helpful worker pulled out his own computer repair kit (I think he said he got it at Fry's) and removed the remaining screws with ease. He also told me this battery is good but doesn't have as long a life as the original one. For a longer-lasting battery like the one your computer came with, it's better to search for the make on the actual battery (which was AS16B8J on mine) in your laptop, than the name and model of your computer. I'm not tech savvy so I found this info from the computer tech guy helpful.

Batter was easy to install, worked for about 5-6 months then my laptop would no longer recognize the batter and it would no longer hold a charge. Stray away from this brand.

I followed the instructions to fully charge the battery and fully discharge it by using the laptop until it shut off. Did that a couple of times. The meter on the task bar shows the percentage remaining and is fairly accurate. I have had it for only a few days so can't say anything about the longevity, but I can now use my laptop without it being hooked up to the charger all the time. Glad I bought it.

Got this as a replacement for my Aspire E5-575G Signature Edition from way back in 2016. The old battery was randomly shutting off. Installing this into the back just required a micro screwdriver set, nothing too crazy. It fit well into the previous battery slot, though I immediately could tell this battery was significantly smaller. It advertises a battery capacity of 2600 mAh, which is 200 less than the OEM. However, where I used to be able to get around 8 hours on my previous battery this one only gets me about 4, so a significant reduction.

The battery worked excellent... ... .., it was the correct battery for my laptop. And.., the installation was a simple process!I'll have to re-install programs because of issues that may, or may not, have dealt with disconnecting the battery for the replacement of the battery... .., but, bottom line, I have access to the laptop computer which holds a volume of various business and personal files.No question.., providing the products were fulfilled by Amazon, I would purchase Domallk products in the future.

Replaced easily enough. Though this is not the modular, click-in battery, you really do have to open up the machine- that's not the battery's fault, more on Acer. Works- mostly. This battery apparently does not report remaining time available to the computer, or the computer doesn't sense it being there, one or the other. In either case, you don't get the battery% meter in the corner, and it will suddenly shut off when you're least expecting. It will run the computer a couple hours off charger, yes, so in that sense I'm better off than I was... but it doesn't really work *right.*Like an idiot I chucked the packaging thinking "who can screw up a battery?" Oops. I'll probably pursue a partial refund and buy something else. Probably the OEM battery that's (I'm sure) twice as much.Edit: seller did see and respond to review, and refunded me.
