It works!
I have genetic alopecia, and I've been using Rogain for 2 years. It's really good, and it really works! My head is so much fuller of hair, and my confidence has skyrocketed because of this.I stopped using it for a couple of months, and my head was full of bald spots. The results are really fast, but you'll notice more hair falling down at the beginning of the process. It's normal, don't worry. As soon as your body gets used to it, the growth is back.I have to quit regularly, and I can't stop, but this is because my alopecia is genetic. If you use it with other treatments, it's really effective.

Excellent purchase.
It does grow a little hair, but not that much. I am not balding and I have all my post pubescent hairs on my head and eyebrows. Once any little hair grow back it makes a path or the others to follow along. I damaged my left eyebrow when over exercising my facial muscles. I can separate muscles in a way that is unbelievable. The plastic stuff is for the oldie moldies who have permanently lost their vigor or just were born without it. Press the mfgr. to make Rogaine work all of the time and to improve his product!

Constant dizziness and unbalance
I took this for exactly 5 weeks, just applying a pinky sized glob in my right cheek to fill in spotty beard in just one tiny area. First two weeks, I only did one application in the morning; thereafter once morning, once at bedtime. On the 5th Friday of taking it, I went to gym, ate lunch, took hot epsom salt bath, and was too tired to get out of the bathtub without assistance and when I did was very dizzy and wobbly on my feet. Thought it was simple deyhdration, so drank pedialtye and took a long nap. It didn’t work, still dizzy constantly—not vertigo—for past 14 days. Read similar experiences on Reddit which just convinced me to stop using this product. You’ve been warned, wish I knew

Seems to be working
I noticed this summer my hair was thinning around the front-center part of my head and was apparently going to leave me with a much higher hairline (the hair on the vertex of my head seemed to be intact). Since I already have a high forehead to begin with, I wanted to try to at least preserve the hair I had left. I spoke to a dermatologist first who did some bloodwork to make sure the hair loss wasn't due to a nutritional deficiency or some other problem. After she was satisfied it wasn't either of those things, we talked about Rogaine & Propecia. I decided to try Rogaine given some of the latest reported permanent side-effects of Propecia that I'd read about. So far, I'm pleased to say my hair seems to have stopped thinning. It actually looks like it's thickened a little, but you can still see where it's thinner than the rest of the hair on my head. But, this is really all I wanted - just keep what I have and live with it being a little thinner. Better than losing it altogether if you ask me! I saw results in a few weeks, but I think this is because I started using it early in the hair loss process - something which I think will help.I did not experience any initial hair loss after starting the treatment like the manufacturer mentioned (in fact, they say this a good sign), but it seems to have worked anyway. As others have said, it does leave a residue in your hair, but it's not really that noticeable once you comb it back into place after massaging the stuff into your scalp. Then again, I have brown hair so it may be different if you have lighter hair.I would say if your hair is thinning, give it a try. Odds are it'll at least let you keep what you have left. Don't wait until you've lost most of the hair - I think it's better to start when you still have some healthy hair follicles in place for the Rogaine to help. I also suggest talking to a doctor, too, just to make sure it's not something else causing the hair loss. I know no medication is 100% effective, but I can't help but wonder if some of those who say it isn't working for them might have something else going on in their systems causing the hair loss.I'm a 40-year old man with male pattern baldness running mostly in my mother's side of my family, though my father and paternal grandfather both had receding hairlines, too.
