This puzzle is great! A good size for a table top or the floor. Well made too. Love the colors!

Played with this at a playdate today and now i'm buying one for my own toddler. The colors are superbly attractive and the wood has a great feel in your hands (sturdy and with smooth edges). The caterpillar is adorable overall. What i appreciate most about this puzzle is that all the letters are sequential so the child practices not just knowing the individual letters but their place in the alphabet. I looked at some similar puzzles but they don't have the one-to-one sequence this puzzle has (i.e., some of their letters are followed by more than 1 letter, making the precedent and succedent letters ambiguous to a new learner.) Also, my friend got this toy at her baby shower and now her daughter is 2, so i take this to mean that the wood and the paint last well.

Colourful, Attractive and Educational

This is a fabulous learning toy. For any child who doesn't know the whole alphabet, he/she can learn by pairing the same colour pieces. Clearly at the same time this can be used for naming the colours as you go. The wiggly shape makes it interesting to put together, and unlike some other alphabet animals these letters are sequential ie. in a (more-or-less) straight line, so no confusion about the order. Since the pieces will only fit together in the correct order - that is they are not all made the same - this also helps with sequencing. It is quite large but I think this makes it easier for a child to deal with, albeit it does take up space. It's beautifully made and I love the little legs! Later on you can use it to pick out a random letter and play 'Name all the countries beginning with...' etc. Versatile and long lasting, a very good buy.

Bought for my niece, for her 2nd birthday. She said it was a 'monster' - she probably hasn't ever seen a caterpillar that big!It is big, bright and sturdy. One of the few alphabet puzzles available on Amazon that pieces together sequentially from A-Z and not other poor designs that go A-B-M. Who even allowed those other designs to make it to production?A great buy and my niece loves it.

This is a lovely toy, but despite being delivered promptly in a sturdy brown box, the Orange Tree presentation box for the caterpillar had obviously been damaged before packing. It was dented, scratched and dusty - not how one wants to give a birthday gift! Disappointing

My three year old loves puzzles and this was no exception. Very colourful, as per the photo, and bigger than I expected. The pieces fit together as long as the angle is correct, this can be a little frustrating for a child. Would have given it a higher rating if it had come with a way to store it, such as a drawstring bag... The box is huge and certainly not ideal for storage.
