Three useful functions in one is great!
This is so useful. I mainly use it for checking the moisture level and soil and it goes into a depth equal to any food plant I grow. It's quick, it's easy, it saves me having to dig down two four or six inches to manually take a look at and feel the soil. I will on rare occasions use it to check the pH and if so nice to be able to do something this quick rather than have to do a soil test myself but would take a samples and letting it dry and then running the test. I can do this in seconds. I can't attest to the accuracy of the pH cuz I haven't compared it but it seems like a good instrument. The Sunshine part I haven't used very much at all so I can't say much about it. I very much like the this requires no batteries because it works off of bimetals. The only negative I've had is the dial while being nice and compact as also relatively tough to read for my older eyes. But I've pretty much memorized the range that I expect to see for needs water, doesn't need water and oh my God it's soaked. A really good product and I'm very happy with the price. I'm looking for some sort of case to protect it although right now I'm using the box that came in. Too long probes a pretty strong but I would feel better if when I put it in with my other gardening tools it was in a case. I'd pay more if it came with a case.

Indispensable tool for indoor plants care...
I bought these years ago, the PH one I don't use it just the Soil Moisture and it's a very good tool to help me in my watering schedule.... I used to kill every plant in my house... now I got plenty thanks to this meter... I got another one just because I wanted a replacement in case it got lost.... they are indispensable....

It's easy to use .
I just received this meter last week and so far it meets my expectations and suits my needs. I don't put a lot of faith in the pH part of it but that's ok, there's better methods for pH. I mainly got it for moisture readings - My sense of touch isn't what it used to be and I've damaged some plants (garden vegetables) by not being able to determine the amount of moisture by touch. The light meter is just so so - it reads low on any artificial light no matter what type or the brightness. It reads hi outdoors no matter the amount of cloud cover. If I have any changes of opinion I'll update later.

Easy
Easy to use, results were in line with what I expected. Strips were just too complicated. And results are subjective and if you are colorblind, forget it. Dial was easy to read and I saw movement on both, so operating. Really like that you get separate meters. You don’t really need to constantly check ph. , moisture on the other hand… That’s also helpful because moisture levels should be in range when you do check ph. And a bargain to boot 🥰

These probe-based units are all garbage
I bought his Kensizer unit in 2022 as my backyard floods when it rains and is generally pretty wet. I have tons of moss growing. If you google that problem they say wet and highly acidic soil is bad for turf, good for moss. Since I can't fix the fact that my backyard is the lowest spot in the neighborhood, I'm trying to control for PH. So i bought this tester that said my entire back yard was heavily acidic. I lay down heavy amounts of lime. Rinse and repeat. This green tester kept reading max acid levels even after many bags of lime over time. And the moss kept spreading. I bought this other meter by AiGerdinn from Amazon in Mar'24: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CSFLZJ6B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , which is the white one shown in the images. It shows my backyard Ph is normal (!?). In the first image, AiGerdinn reads Ph:5, Kenzier says 9 (worst acid level). In the 2nd, AiGerdinn read Ph 6, Kenzier: 1. In the 3rd, AiGerdinn: 6, Kensizer: 1 My conclusion is that none of these probe-based soil testers work. I'm going to try a paper-test kit next. Update: April1'24: I bought and tried the Dewilde soil test paper strips and as suspected, all the lime I put down resulted in an Alkaline score of 9.0, i.e. no acidity. Now that I've looked at a few of these, it seems the Kensizer dual probe (green one) has the "Acid" label on the wrong side of their meter. And the AiGerdinn (single probe) just doesn't work - it's always in the middle of the scale so not detecting pH variations hardly at all.

Good meters
Not quite sold on the acidity meter but moisture meter seems to work, easy to read and simple to use. I use it for my potted plants.

useful device especially if you live in an acid soil area and want to grow veg. Works well if you wait for the needle to settle, give it about 30 seconds, and fuself powered

Interviewer: "Today, we have with us an expert in gardening tools, the Kensizer Soil Tester. It's a 3-in-1 device that measures moisture, pH, and light levels for plants. Tell us, what sets this tool apart from others in the market?" Kensizer Soil Tester (as if personified): "Well, first of all, I don’t rely on batteries. It’s all about simplicity and precision. I offer three key measurements—moisture, light, and pH—that every plant enthusiast needs to optimize growth. Whether you’re growing indoors or outdoors, I give you the tools to ensure your plants are getting the best care possible." Interviewer: "That’s quite impressive! And how does this make a difference in plant care?" Kensizer Soil Tester: "You see, plants are very much like people. They have specific needs—moisture, proper light, and balanced soil pH. By providing precise readings, I take away the guesswork. Without me, you might water too much, too little, or give them too much sunlight, which can lead to poor growth. I allow gardeners to understand their plants better and make more informed decisions." Interviewer: "No batteries required—that’s certainly convenient. How does that work?" Kensizer Soil Tester: "It’s simple. I’m designed to be reliable, efficient, and easy to use. You don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries or dealing with technical failures. Just stick me in the soil, and I’ll give you instant feedback. No hassle, just solid data." Interviewer: "It sounds like the Kensizer Soil Tester is the ultimate tool for anyone serious about gardening. What would you say to someone on the fence about buying it?" Kensizer Soil Tester: "I would say: if you want your plants to thrive—whether you’re a novice gardener or a seasoned pro—don’t hesitate. The data I provide will give you the edge you need. Your plants will thank you for it." Interviewer: "Thank you for your time! It seems the Kensizer Soil Tester is truly a game-changer for gardeners everywhere."
