First time owning a figure like this. Got it three days early, and must say very pleased with great mazinger. Man this figure is so cool. Very Poseable, has a very good feel to it, feels delicate but also very well built. As I’ve seen on reviews for this, the joints are stiff at first and feels as if they might break, all the pointy bits are sharp but feel as if they would break off if pushed on too hard. The hands and forearms are a little tough to take off the first couple of times, felt like I would almost break something, especially the drill arms. Overall an awesome figure, very happy with it. The only con that I can truly think of is that the pilder falls off the crown easier than I would like and it’s really small so if it drops on my red carpet it might get lost, and yeah this bad boy is on display, no way I’m gonna spend this kind of money and leave it in a box. It’s just too awesome to not be stared at in all its glory.

Great figure, tons of accessories.

This figure is amazing in many aspects: The paint job and finish is masterpiece level. Color accents and contrast in very small pieces, metallic finish and textures. Some pieces fall off easily when manipulating (more on that later) but I haven't seen any damage yet. Don't take me wrong, this is not gorilla glass or anything similar, but my point is that after some involuntary accidents the piece is still intact. The joints are too stiff, which causes some of the add on pieces to fall off when you try to bend the arm, the leg or trying to switch forearms with the drill effect, etc. My other complain is that the last higher level in the support bar for the stand didn't fit in the locking position, so I have to manually waste the piece with a sharp blade to make it to work. Other than that, I can recommend it as a Metal Build piece, if you loved the movie or are a Mazinger fan. This is a must. I see it doesn't have as many gimmicks as the Mazinger Z from the same line and series, but this one is larger by an inch or more, and it have enough accesories (it even have two versions of jet packs and both are amazing!). Highly recommended!

Box is in bad shape and looks like has been opened before so makes me wonder if the item was used as a display and then resealed or if it’s just a used item.

I am very pleased with this, there are many reviews out there already that go into extreme depth, this is not one of them. This is corroboration of all of the positive reviews and yes advice to get one for yourself while they are available.This is expensive but is also very good and there is no need for another Great Mazinger figure after this one it is the penultimate version, I am not certain why this is less expensive then the Mazinger Z they are both great figures for collectors.If your budget can afford this then by all means buy it you will not be disappointed.
