I have a number of AR's and always have BUIS mounted on my rifles. Back up iron sights I've used include Troy (best), Magpul metal (very good) and Magpul plastic (very basic and not happy with durability of plastic). I bought these to see how I liked the 45 degree BUIS when using a 1-6x Scope before I spent a lot of money on Troy's or another costly brand.For the money, they are nice. I only tested zero for about 300 rounds, but they have maintained proper zero. I need to do more testing before I'm fully satisfied but for the average AR owner, I recommend them.

My friends who do 3 gun complimented me. I didn't even know what the offset meant when I ordered. I bought because of the price. Gave me extra style points without knowing.

For the price, this sighting system is extremely well-made... BUT...even with the rear sight adjusted as low as possible, and the front pin-sight adjusted so high that it wobbles, the rifle still shoots 10" high at 50 yards. The rear sight needs to be adjustable to a position much lower than presently possible for this to be an accurate sighting system.

If you need a rapid transition for multiple ranged engagements, you'll be pleased with this product. It pairs well with an angled foregrip for "rolling" onto a target.
