Really love the clock. My wife is going to have me shorten the chain so we can move it to another area. To get the 8 day movement you need to mount it about 7 feet above the floor. The ding at the top of every hour is unobtrusive and acts as a pleasant reminder of the time. It took me a little over a week adjust the knob on the pendulum to get it to keep accurate time. Not unusual for a mechanical clock which you need to enjoy the tick tock.

I love the clock. I do wish the face was a little bigger or the hands didn't have the extensions on them, it would make it so much easier to read from across the room. Over all I am most than pleased.

This clock was more than $100.00 than very similar clocks. The pictures made it appear it would be worth the money. However, the clocks weight was a very ugly, unattractive dark piece of spray painted metal, not resembling the stock photo at all! The seller indicated the incorrect weight from a cheaper model must have been sent, and shipped out a replacement weight. After a lengthy period of time, the new weight arrived. , It was the exact same trash appearing weight that was originally sent. Advise not to purchase!

I Debated between buying the cheaper version of this clock, but decided to go with this one because it appeared to have an antique brass pendulum, bell, and weight. DO NOT BE FOOLED! The weight Is cast iron with a really, really bad paint job! It looks awful! The pendulum and bell are aluminum and are also painted, not as poorly, but they look extremely cheap in comparison with the rest of the clock, which is actually very nice. It’s a case of buyer beware. The quality of vendors on Amazon has really taken a nosedive lately.

This one has proper adjust on pendulum to allow for these different conditions. Simple construction and open design allows one to understand just how a clock works. Very, very pleased with purchase. It is a smaller stature clock, check dimension before you order. Face of clock is just under 6 inches in diameter. Properly priced (in reference to other reviews) although I personally felt it to be an excellent buy.
